My husband and I have been members for 23 years, but we won't be much longer. The last few years…read moretheir customer service has been mostly nonexistent. You're on hold for 45 minutes, so you decide to press the option to leave a voicemail for a customer service representative to call you back. Yet, no one ever returns your call. My husband deposited a check on 6/17/25, and the teller said there's a seven business day hold. He asked why, and the teller said that's what the computer is saying. My husband left them a terrible review through their customer satisfaction survey they emailed him, so a representative called my husband wanting to know why he was not satisfied. He told her a seven business day hold on a deposit is ridiculous. All the woman kept repeating was that's what the computer told the teller to do because the check might not clear. My husband asked if they couldn't think for themselves and had to let a computer decide for them. He explained that check deposited was from Delaware Park and Casino, and asked if they really believed it would not be paid? All the lady kept saying was the computer told them to hold it that long. Then, today they decide to change the due date of my home equity loan to June 17th with a past due notice. The loan has had a due date of the 29th each month for the last four years. I called customer service, and I am still waiting for a call back for this to be resolved.

The business returns were filed incorrectly and the office was extremely slow in their response to rectify problems or address my concerns. My frequent calls to the firm regarding the status of the filings weren't returned. I rate my overall experience with Tax Chicks less than one, if possible.

I asked if we had enough time to set up the IRA before the tax return due date. He said yes, absolutely. He told me to make an appointment to come in his office. apparently he was too important to make the appointment and he transferred me to his admin. Of course she wasn't available and I had to leave a message. So far I'm not impressed. Especially after hearing all the ads on 92.5 radio about how great they are. So I get my appointment several days later and go in. He proceeds to tell us how committed he is to his customers and how 'great' he is. so we complete all the paper work and he tell us the 'paper work has to be processed'. What ever that means. So then the next day is Thursday before Good Friday I get a phone call, voice mail message, saying we can't set up your IRA in time you need to go to the bank and set up an IRA and then after the Holiday we can transfer the money into account with us. So now I have to take time off from work to rush to the bank with my husband to set up these IRA accounts before the banks are closed on Friday. Thanks you really know how to talk the talk but walking the walk not so much. Hey maybe if he had made my appointment he would have know the time constraint and could have told me then there was enough time to get this done.
