As a property owner, HRG was very bad supervisor of the properties. They took no initiative to get…read moreanything done. A tenant left - minimum 3-4 weeks before the unit was listed. Emergency maintenance issues were left to for over 24 hours when they'd arise. Their vendors either scam them or they're in on it. I had to ask them about a bill where the vendor charged me $40 to change a light bulb (and it wasn't visit fee, they were there for various items). I had to start using my own vendors because of how outrageous some of these costs were. $40 to change in a light bulb, $275 dollars to hang a shelf that was already hanging just one side fell off. However, the worst part is how they handled bills. They paid all utility bills late and we incurred late charges we didn't know about, and we are currently now in a dispute about how they how paid a utility bill (months late btw and we had to pay it ourselves because it was about to be switched off due to non payment ) after utilities were already switched in their name. They continue to hold hostage over $4,000 and they aren't responding to direct evidence from winter haven utilities that they never received the payment they took from our account and claim they paid. It is effectively theft. They also constantly took money from the account without explanation, deposits, charges that didn't make sense. I had to check the portal daily/weekly. The amount of times they had to credit the portal back money they stole is probably illegal. Even now, I am writing currently disputing the multiple thousands of dollars they have held hostage since beginning of June when the account was supposed to be closed. Unfortunately, they are not responding so this will first be a complaint with the Florida dept of business and if I still don't receive a response, we will have to sue for this money. They are not trustworthy. Avoid this company as an owner
