Entered a bid 10k over asking. 5:00 comes....oh we had booked showings on Saturday and we want to be fair, so would you extend your offer through Sunday? We did so very reluctantly." Sunday comes, At 5:20 our realtor calls and says, they are working with someone else, however would you please submit your best highest offer as backup? ". At that point we instructed our realtor to tell the seller and the Bean realtor to go to hell. This left a bad taste in my mouth, it may have been legal, but it was unethical and trust me, I will be avoiding this realty group at all costs.
