I used the online appointment scheduler only to find out they "never really look at that". But aside from that I found them to be skillful and friendly. Here are my two standout experiences... A while back my car said it was overheating. I stopped by a Grease Monkey and they said I needed a new part that they would have to order and gave me a deadline. I was very suspicious of this . I then went to Burien Truck Repair and they told me they would look and charge me a diagnostic fee. In the end, they didn't need a new part, it just needed to be cleaned. They did that, lumped the diagnostic fee into the repair since they actually did it and saved me $200-300. They also gave me a ride to work while I waited! Next! Biggie! Things have been rough and my plate was stacked. I was pulling into the dentist last week and I suddenly heard the most horrendous noise. I was expecting to see a pipe dragging. Very flustered, I went in and the hygienist said she heard it too. I called BTR and Christy had me hold my phone out and drive back and forth a bit. She said that sounded terrible and, while they were about to close, rush over. I pulled in, getting many WTF looks. Christy ran over with another guy saying she heard it from the back. They immediately looked at it and said it wasn't safe to drive home and said they'd be on it first thing...and AGAIN gave me a ride! I got a call around 9 and...it was a rock. I drove over a rock and it wedged itself up behind my tire. The charge? $0! Wholly moly! So basically they are the best, not just in customer service and car repair, but hi just all around standout people. I can not express this enough. I would, and do, recommend them to everyone for everything. A million thanks to the whole Burien Truck Repair team!

I'm only leaving one star because I cant leave zero. I really loved this place until after my…read moreconversation with the front desk employee that says he's also the owner. I believe he is also the same person that had me order a completely extra set of cabin filters that I didn't need. I ordered these from him over the phone then came in to pick up my order. My vehicle has two cabin filters and there were two boxes so I trusted him when he said that was my two filters and paid (well now I know double the price). He was so concerned with his dog more then work he never verified I needed one box or two. But if your the owner you would think you would know your product. I have been busy so I didn't get around to installing them until this weekend. Which has been less then 30 days I need to add. So when I opened one of the boxes I noticed there were two cabin filters in it. Which is actually also a question I asked on the phone that day when I placed the order and he still told me there was just one per box. Mind me these are BMW cabin filters so they are not cheap. So when I called today 8/9/2025 to ask if I could return one because they sold me the wrong amount and made me over pay for something he was very none willing to help and very rude as hell about it and this is the owner. The OWNER of the company said he cant do anything about refunding my order. I just wanted a refund for the extra one THEY messed up and sold me. But some how the OWNER doesn't have the power to issue that refund because under 30 days is too long??? I really loved this place and have used them several times several times but I will no longer give them my business because of how incredibly rude and non understanding the OWNER was the same person that messed up and sold me the wrong quantity in the first place. Poor customer service and no accountability is a terrible way to run a business. Along with a terrible attitude about it. Check your stuff before you leave because the OWNER does not know what he is doing obviously and his dog is more important then taking care of his customers! The other guy who used to work there at the front desk was way better and knowledgeable then the new Hispanic OWNER quote un quote guy.

My Audi was serviced on 6/1/22 for a power steering pump, suction pipe and belt replacement. 12…read moredays later the belt snapped and was left inoperable. After speaking with Marcus, he mentioned that due to the pandemic, it was hard on the business and he has let go of all of his mechanics since. I'm not sure if it was because they were not also qualified, but it did seem to raise some concern, due to the quality of work done on my Audi. Call after call, he gives me no indication that he is willing to help my situation. I had my car towed to a shop at my OWN expense, and had another mechanic diagnose the damages. He mentioned the following: The serpentine belt snapped and needs to be replaced, along with the tensioner, intake manifold (flap is broken). It will need a compression test and diagnosis (timing has jumped). I went out of my way to get this diagnosis from another shop, since Marcus said he was not able to. At this point I'm very frustrated and had my car towed to my house. It has been sitting in my garage, inoperable to this very day, which is over a year now. I've emailed Marcus and his website about my findings, and have heard not a single word or how to make things right. As I read some of these posts on here, which are pretty recent. I'm beyond frustrated that customers are coming to you and having work done on their cars. Not only does that imply that you have mechanics employed, but deliberately ignoring my situation. Basically, I just want a shop to do the right thing. I paid for a service, the service failed. The invoice does in fact state it covers 2 years in warranty. I hope my review helps you decide on giving this shop your business.
