I've been twice to this nail salon. First was ok. Before going again, I kept thinking I should look for something else. Should have realized that was a clue from my first experience. I do believe nail techs make a difference. I got a bad one. They cut into my skin where it bled, usually sours my entire experience. To add salt to my wounds, the gel nails were done poorly . There's indentations on polish on multiple nails. The color is unforgiving with uneven brush stroke. Looks like something I did at home and not spent money to get done "professionally." Also voicing my wants and dissatisfaction was hard with the language barrier. read more

This place used to be my go to nail salon, until they decided they couldn't accommodate me anymore. I tried calling several times to book an appt with no answer or call back until the next day just for them to tell me my "nail designs" take to much time and they can't do it for me. I didn't even want a design this time around and they still couldn't accommodate me. Jessica even had the nerve to send me other nail shops i can try out. They will accommodate any new customer in a heart beat but they are very bad at keeping there returning customers. Ive been coming here for years and its sad to say i will not be returning. This nail salon only cares about getting you in and out quickly so they can make more money, very bad business. No point in making an appointment here. Whatever time you set with them, when you get there and there are already other walk ins, they will not honor the appointment you made. Had gel x removed too and still a thin portion of the old gel x nail remained. read more

This was my first time at PM Nails and I think it's going to be my go to place The staff are all so incredibly sweet and attentive. The place was full of regulars, so I knew it was going to be great. Went here the first time yesterday with my husband. I was getting a gel x full set and he was getting his first ever pedicure. I was trying to find a place that would really take care of him and not rush the process and they didn't disappoint. He said he didn't know his feet could look so good. Unfortunately people who are impatient or not understanding don't see how hard they try to accommodate people and just get mad. ***UPDATE*** I just got dipping powder this past week and it's pretty amazing so far. It's more sturdier than gel, similar to what I would imagine acrylics are like. (never had them) My nails are now VERY hard and basically unbendable. I don't think I'll get that chip/shatter effect you get with gel nails after 2+ weeks. They say it lasts 3 weeks to a month. *********************** I found this place based on the good reviews and how close it is to my job. You can easily set up an appointment by texting her the owner Jessica, who is great! Just make sure you set up an appointment vs. walking in, they can get very busy. The only downside I can say about this place is the parking. Make sure to arrive 5 minutes early to find parking on the residential street around the corner. Jessica is great at hiring! The entire staff, including people who have come and gone, have ALWAYS done a great job on my gel manicures. I can go 2-3 weeks without chipping. The awesome part is if anything happens to your manicure within a week they will fix it for you without question! One of my (natural) nails went rogue and began to break on me, I asked Jessica if they could put a couple layers of clear gel to strengthen my manicure and she ended up putting a fresh top coat on all my nails to bring back the shine! How sweet! I'm extremely frugal, so frugal I'm borderline cheap, but the prices they charge are GREAT!! They offer you tea, coffee, or soda while you get your nails done. PM also has a large variety of colors/styles. AND they offer dipping powder which is rare to find! Although there's good salons near where I live in Chatsworth, I come here early before work because nothing can compare to the service I receive here. read more

I was looking for somewhere to go within a specific window, so I ended up here by convenience and availability. I'm glad I did! I wish I'd come up on this nail shop sooner. Jessica, whom I saw mentioned and praised on Yelp prior to coming is genuinely a gem. Upon arrival, Jessica asked me what my name was, introduced herself and was kind enough to tell me that it was nice to meet me. This took customer service to the next level. Jessica brought out a basket of refreshments ranging from water, tea + coffee to offer me something to drink, complimentary. She's informative, and took the time to breakdown her pedicure services. (There are 4.) Her energy, and personable demeanor is impressive. Two other women came in while I was here, and she was not only familiar with them, but knew both of their names by heart. The deluxe 1 spa pedicure comes with a scrub, and callous remover. Ivy who did my pedicure is extremely gentle, I was able to relax throughout getting my cuticles and all the extras removed. She wore gloves, asked me if I wanted my nails cutdown, also told me it was nice to meet me, was communicative and thorough. She showed me a timer to instill faith in the timely five minute massage I'd be receiving followed by a hot stone rub down. (Hot stone was inside wash cloth.) ivy was considerate enough to ask if it was too hot. The establishment is clean. There is a private parking lot. It's not too big, but I was able to nestle into one. Street parking also appears to be available. All staff was masked. My pedicure was a breeze. Ivy cleaned me up with the touch up afterwards to ensure paint hadn't gotten anywhere it didn't belong. I love it here. read more

I come here all the time to get a mani/pedi. I have also tried the paraffin wax on my feet. It was amazing. Although my feet were not too dry, I really wanted them to be smooth and soft. The wax did its job. Jessica (owner) is very very friendly and accommodating. Remembers all her customers by first name, which is a plus. Offers you a drink upon arrival. Good prices!! Parking lot is small with minimal parking spaces. For the most part, you can always walk-in and get your nails done but it is much better if you want to request someone specifically to call for an appt ahead of time. They are open on sundays! They are so nice here! I had to make a reservation for the next evening since they were busy on the day I wanted to pop in, and it was definitely worth the wait. Their customer service was awesome--they offer complimentary beverages and candy. The place is clean and welcoming. I have found my go-to nail salon in the valley. PRICE: Very reasonable! I got my old gel polish (done at another place over like a month before) taken off (free of charge) before getting them done again, and it was $25. PARKING: Small lot and street parking. This was my first time here and I absolutely loved it. I have been looking for a while for a GOOD place with gel powder (i.e. SNS powder, dip powder) and I came across this place. I walked in without an appointment and they were extremely sweet and took me right away. I did the dip powder in a light blue color. As soon as we started the women took great care of me and my nails. The woman offered me candy or a granola bar or anything to make me more comfortable. Then, towards the middle of my appointment a different woman walked around holding a silver tray with waters, soda, etc. asking everyone in the place if they would like anything. And all this stuff was for free!!! Once I was finished my nails came out great and I can't wait to go back again. I would recommend this place to many people. This is my spot! Seriously. I've been getting my nails done since I was pretty young, but never became a regular anywhere. I could never find a place where the service was good and I felt comfortable being there. Well that's changed. The first time we came in we were with my 3 nieces, while my sister in law and I got out pedicures they duly assisted my nieces with their polish. They were patient and attentive with the girls which goes a long way in my books. Since then, I've gone back multiple times. I've gotten gel, pedicures, and most recently dip. The pedicures were great and relaxing, the gel was applied perfectly thin and lasted right up to the third week. Currently, I have dip which have been on for a week- they look great and are holding up well. The customer service is excellent! Jessica actually remembers my name when I go in, something I think goes a long way. On top of that, Jessica is such a kind soul! They're very accommodating with their hours, offer a beverage while you're getting your service, and they take their time. It's a wonderful and relaxing environment- makes you want to get your nails done. Oh, and it's inexpensive compared to other nail salons. I'd say, give this place a chance! read more
