But when I walked in today for the first time I was taken back. It felt like the ultimate guys hangout spot. There a few guys relaxing in the leather chairs, smoking and watching tv. One looked like he was working remote as he had a laptop in front of him. I'm a causal cigar smoker but I instantly wanted to jump in a chair and pick one out. This was a short visit as it wasn't planned and I had to get back to the office. To be honest the only reason I walked in was because my coworker wanted to check if they had something in stock. We were greeted as we walked in. Asked if we needed help finding anything while we were browsing and was told to let them know if we had any questions. Then we were left alone but in a good way. No one was hovering over us, or trying to push us to buy certain ones. I could have spent some serious time and money in here as there was so many options. They also seemed to have something for everyone. From mild to strong and price points from high to low. I'm looking forward to coming back and actually hanging out and relaxing.

As a business owner myself, I expect professionalism and basic courtesy, especially in an empty establishment where every guest should be made to feel welcome. Instead, I felt completely uninvited and uncomfortable. I reluctantly went inside, had one drink, and left. The atmosphere felt very unwelcoming, as if, as a Hispanic woman, I didn't belong there. Other Hispanic women I know have had the same experience from the owner (since she goes around announcing it), so this isn't just my impression. To make matters worse, people have also mentioned seeing the same woman, "the owner" , lying on the lounge couch under a blanket while customers are present. That is incredibly unprofessional in any hospitality business. Overall, this is not a welcoming environment, the service from the owner is poor, and the professionalism is severely lacking. Highly NOT recommended.

I hope Twin Peaks will reconsider its closing procedures and prioritize the safety of its employees. No business should have a female employee closing by herself with no security around and cars constantly getting broken into day and night.
