The place to begin with was dirty having dirty uno cards, and pillows to lay on the couch. The tables we're clean still. The service was okay, I got my order wrong but still was helpful. Giving me my coin after one of the gambling things. The food was a mess, the mochi donuts have been the worse I ever had. They were kinda chewy but not enough being even a bit hard, and small. The presentation was okay, I suppose. Not the best looking and flavor wise is was okay. The chocolate on the smores was dark. Being runny and hot (which is good if u like it hot but not with a semi kinda cold donut that was hard?). The taro donut was good flavor wise, too sweet but not chewy. Like it didn't feel like a mochi donuts. Corn dog, I got one as I personally enough Korean corn dogs that have a mozzarella filling. It was cinnamon and sugar which should be quite a lighter flavor compare the wide selection they had. The oil of it was like older than McDonalds brown and such a harsh taste. It even looked unappealing, which is hard as it's fried food. The smell was weird and really bad smelling burnt. The cheese was good (I would hope, not that hard to mess up cheese). The boba was okay, nothing special. Out the three boba my group ordered only mines was messed up. I ordered no Tapioca and still got but can't really say much as I don't personally enjoy the flavor of it. Ignoring the after taste of my boba it was good. So bear that in mind before ordering. This place is pretty small, and I arrived right when they opened. I decided to try the Dorito nacho half hot dog with cheese, but it was disappointing. The hot dog lacked flavor, and the cheese tasted off, so I couldn't finish it. On the bright side, the Crème Brûlée Signature Tea was delicious, and the famous TikTok mango ice cream was creamy and definitely worth trying again. They also have a ramen noodle bar, which I didn't get a chance to try. I also ordered a strawberry donut, but when I received it, it looked nothing like what was advertised. They told me they were out of the original one and substituted it with a strawberry glazed donut with sprinkles. I just wish they had told me beforehand instead of surprising me with something different. Also, they take forever to make your food and I waited like another 5 to 7 minutes for someone to take my order to go. This was my first time at PLUR Tea. Right off the bat, I think this location needs to be expanded. There's so much cool stuff in there, a bigger location would benefit them. I was craving something sweet after dinner and saw that this wasn't too far. I got a mochi donut and I could tell that it had been sitting out for a while (felt a bit dried out but not stale like it was several days old). The person working there was nice and liked the decor. The place is a bit small so I wouldn't come here to do work. I came there during the evening, so perhaps there is a fresh batch in the morning. I sent my husband to pick this up for me. He got there just as they opened so maybe that's why... The tapioca pearls were still hard, I think they needed to cook longer. The tea was overly sweet, I should have asked for it to be half sweet. Do they even do that? The mochi donut tasted a little stale. Maybe it was from the day before. But I have to say, the guy that worked there was really nice. If I'm in the area I may go again but it's definitely not on my must list. Just discovered this little gem. It's next to a liquor store and laundromat, in a bit sketchy mall, but there's parking. There is plenty of ambiance once you get inside with fun but low music, so you can really enjoy a conversation. They got different nooks with reg tables, high tops, and couch lounge area, which makes for a great hangout space. They sell little knick knacks and the cutest little pillows/plush things, which reminds me of living in Asia. The attendant was super nice and willing to help choose things. I ordered a peach roasted oolong tea with cheese foam and reg boba, and it was delicious. It's not too sweet for me once I mix the cheese foam. Perfect blend. They have sweetness level options and a varied tea menu. They've got some peculiar blends that I'm looking forward to trying next time, such as tiramisu, creme Brule, and guava. If you've got the munchies They also sell cookies and macarons. Price wise, they are $7-$10 depending on what you get and toppings. They only have one size, which is about 16oz. This place is sooo cute and the boba was amazing. I think 6.50 for boba is the average price and that is how much they charge here. The workers were very kind and patient with me. I love the name of the store too, PLUR is life. They also sell trinkets!! Sonny angels and such, i recommend this place. Is more n popular than I thought it would be. Family oriented, they have games on each table, and families were playing them. I think it is a good outing with your kids to have some clean fun while refreshing in the heat of Miami and not breaking the bank. I was excited to see a boba tea spot in my area, but my excitement quickly faded after my 1st visit. I ordered a taro milk tea for $6.99, which is already more expensive than most places, but I wanted to give them a try. I was asked with or without boba? Naturally, I said with boba. The cashier rang me up $8.50. What? Wasn't it $6.99. He says we charge $.99 for the boba. Who does that? I have never been charged extra for boba in my life. It's deceptive to advertise a price, then add on to that price for boba. I was given an explanation about shipping costs being high. What's that got to do with the customer? I bet if you lower your prices, you will get more loyal customers. The tea was delicious, but I refuse to pay so much for a drink again. Honest review here, the tea was good and the boba was not overcooked like most places in Miami I was definitely surprised. It was actually pretty good being that location was in cutler bay, I'm from California and we have no shortage on boba spots that are good so I've been tryin my hardest to find a place me and my family can enjoy. Now for the reason this place got a 3 and not a 5 is simply on the service. I went one time with the owner being there and he knew exactly what I was looking for, unfortunately I've only run into him once out of the 4 times I've visited. All 3 other times I've ran into the girl there, I must say she's not helpful and frankly kinda rude, I always ask her for simple Jasmine tea, it's literally the first ingredient in all other drinks, it does not require any add ons no pumps or flavor add ons. This seems literally impossible for her to comprehend when I ask just Jasmine nothing added other than pour some milk in it. She fights me constantly to tell me they don't have it and all there drinks are already mix, like you don't have a tea bag to just throw and call it a day, the owner knew how simple it was and did not question when I asked just Jasmine tea. She finally agrees after pushing back for like 5 min on this, I ask for extra boba on both teas I also ask for salted cream. I don't know if she was just mad that I clearly knew more about boba then she did but none of the extras I requested were added but were surely charged. I've never paid so much for 2 simple drinks, it was literally 23$ for 2 drinks which is pretty pricey but that's still wouldn't stop me, as long as the boba is good I'd take it, would is stopping me was her service and push back on what I wanted for the 3rd time. I won't be coming back and will continue to look for a good spot, I don't like the attitude of someone not knowing what their drinks and wanting me to stoop to there level of not knowing to drink what she wants me to drink wtf. I waited a pretty long time for one boba but it was delicious tho, the place is great, they have a very inviting atmosphere. There is all sort of games at tables you can play while enjoying your tea. They also have mochi donuts that I tried, I got the guava and cheese, first of all let me say I don't like donuts in general. Never have.
