I had an excellent experience with Adrian and his team at Plumbing Tech for my tankless water heater replacement. I highly recommend them! From the beginning, Adrian was extremely responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. His pricing was fair and reasonable, and he was very flexible with scheduling, even accommodating a next-day installation. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and expertise. In addition to replacing the water heater, Adrian and his team identified and corrected mistakes from the previous installation, making sure the new installation was done properly and in accordance with city building code requirements. The entire team was friendly, courteous, and professional throughout the process. They completed the entire project in just a few hours, demonstrating exceptional skill, efficiency, and experience. Watching them work, it was clear that they had probably performed hundreds of similar installations. They knew exactly what they were doing, worked seamlessly together, and handled everything with confidence and precision. It's refreshing to find a plumbing company that combines excellent workmanship, reasonable pricing, prompt service, and genuinely friendly communication. Thank you, Adrian and the Plumbing Tech team, for a job well done! I would absolutely use your services again and highly recommend you to anyone needing plumbing or water heater services. read more

I had to upgrade my review due to the actions of the owner, Adrian. He really went above and beyond upon learning of my issue. I only knock it one star due to the time it took for him to realize there was an issue to begin with and attempt to get in touch with me. Long story short, I had what I thought was a plumbing issue related to some work his company did a few years back in January 2019. About a year after said work was completed, I was made aware of an "issue" with the work by another plumber from another company. I had a slow draining issue that I needed looked at, I thought it would just be a simple clog that needed snaking out. That person told me there was a serious offset in my lateral connection to my home's pipe from the lateral replacement Adrian's company did. Mind you this was around midnight or so and the guy was showing me this footage on a grainy sewage monitor. Basically, he told advantage of my inexperience and tried to sell me on some work that was not needed. The next day, I decided to reach out to Plumbing Tech to see if this was true but I never got a response. Not sure what happened for them to miss it because I called/emailed and left messages, but I felt I was being ghosted. Eventually I did leave the one star review here. It sat there for about two years. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and Adrian left a response to my review and after a little back and forth, he confirmed I was indeed a customer and he agreed to come and see what the problem was. I have to say, Adrian was a complete professional and seemed like a very honest person. He used his sewage camera to inspect the pipes and found the "issue" raised by the other company was a non issue and took the time to really explain it to me. Basically, to connect the new pipe to my home's pipe required a connector and there is an accepted offset where the two pipes do not actually touch but the gap is very minimal. I was satisfied with this but Adrian was not, he said he would provide an extended warranty on his work for 5 years total. The next day, I got a new invoice indicating the new terms with the extended warranty. To top it off, he offered to upgrade the cap to my cutout from a normal twist on cap to a popper cleanout valve. The next week, he personally came by again and did just that. My opinion on this company is completely changed, I would highly recommend them based on the owner's integrity and commitment to provide top level customer service. Just a warning to others to stay away from E-Z Plumbing in Hayward, especially someone named Percy. That person has a bad reputation and I saw firsthand his unethical tactics. After he informed me of the "issue", I got a few other second opinions and everyone knew of Percy's reputation already. Not sure how his company has 4.5 stars but he definitely tried to take advantage of me. He recommended over $5k in work that I found out later was NOT needed. read more

Our water shut off valve wasn't working and we also needed help installing a new dishwasher. Plumbing tech helped install the valve and did a great job installing the new dishwasher. They were patient enough to test the dishwasher works as expected. They made sure there were no leaks and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs. read more

Thank you Plumbing Tech for fixing my hot water leak in a timely manner! Adrian came over and checked what was causing the leak and found the issue. He told me what the problem was and he was going to do to resolve the leak. He is honest and tell you what needs to be done and does not up sale anything. Very reasonable pricing too! I recommend them for your needs. read more

It's too bad these guys don't have more reviews. I was skeptical when hiring them because the sales guy was not the guy doing the work and I'd read on a sister review from a larger partner company that reviews had been mixed. They also had very few reviews on yelp so I wondered..... Brian Bailey gave me a very good price for a very tough job after a previous plumber (rapid plumbing/triple A) backed out of the job. They replaced all of my old galvanized pipe with a combination of copper and pex and we no longer have crappy water pressure or rust in the lines. The follow up crew did a great job patching up my walls and I could not be happier with their service. 25 year guarantee and they prevailed where others would not dare to go. Plumbing tech and repipe - for the win! read more

Provided a detailed estimate with best price I could find. In fact, the only fair price I could find. Professional, responsive, polite, caring. Flexible about changes that needed to be made during project. Promised a one day project. Repiping started and completed on schedule, and done very thoroughly. Discovered that drain piping also needed to be replaced and did that job the next day. Other contractors were going to break tiles and necessitate major remodeling, but Adrian knew how to do the job without breaking any tiles. Prompt follow-up of loose ends. Went above and beyond the stated project. For example, inspected the water heater and found rust from the old pipes and recommended servicing and cleaning the water heater. Also installed a regulator because the incoming water pressure was too high. All in all, excellent service. read more

Water tank broke. Adrian reacted promoted and resolved the issue in one day. Did a good job.

I had Plumbing Tech and Repipe come to my house in January of 2013, they arrived at 8:30 in the morning and out of the house by 5 pm. They did a re-pipe in PEX and I couldn't be more happy about the results from their work. Sergio personally came by in the afternoon to check on things. When he was there I asked him about some other things I would like to have fixed ( change my garbage disposal, snake a bathroom sink drain) and he did them for no cost. Again, I couldn't be happier with the service and would recommend them to family members! read more

Our hot water heater failed on a Saturday night with my in-laws in town. I called a half dozen places Sunday morning, and Adrian was the one person able to come immediately. I chose to buy my own hot water heater replacement at Home Depot to save myself some cash, so he advised me on which to purchase, then met me back at home. He and his assistant worked for about 2 1/2 hours removing the old one, updating some connection parts, and installing the new one. He charged a fair price and was clean and professional. read more

Horrible ... called them for an estimate to have my gas lines replaced and scheduled a am appointment to have it done . They never showed up . I called and explained that I took time off of work to get the estimate and they told me there estimate writer had a family emergency . That would have been fine but they never called me to inform me they were not coming .then they texted me later in the day and said they did not do the type of repair ( gas leak) that I needed . Complete waste of time read more

They were unable to clear the blockage in my main sewer line. The plumber suggested adding another cleanout, in the yard, for $900. I rejected that and he said that he could use the hydro jet, which is normally $900, for only $600 because they really wanted to get the job done. There is more, but to shorten the story, I declined any further work. The next day I called a plumbing company that was recommended by my insurance company. That company came out and unblocked the main line without any problem. read more

I asked for five bids from various plumbers for a copper repipe of our 1950's San Jose home. Plumbing tech had the most competitive bid and were willing to pull permits for the job. I had a gas leak problem. PG&E turned off the gas. The whole house couldn't have hot water after a day. I had a very good plumber before who moved to LA. Out of desperation I googled on the problem and plumbing. Plumbing Tech showed up on top. I was skeptical, but called them to give it a try. They were able to showed up the next morning. And fixed the problem in 2 days with a reasonable charge. Arturo was the technician, energetic, pleasant, professional, and thorough. I will call him again in case there is a plumbing problem again. Hope not. ;) read more

I called Plumbing tech to get an estimate to replace my main sewer line under the house, because my sewer line was leaking extremely bad. I called many different company's to get estimates but i decided to go with Sergio from plumbing Tech because he made me feel like he knew exactly what he was doing and he did. And he did because the job was completed in only one day and passed the inspection already the second day. I highly recommend this company to all my family and friends, because he is very flexible and has very reasonable prices. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Plumbing Tech, Inc., and their customer service. I have not had a major issue with the copper repipe they did two years ago and I trust their work, so naturally I called them for a minor leak which developed at the hot water coupling to the water heater. Unfortunately, the details of the job were misunderstood and they thought I was requesting a water heater replacement. On the day of the job, which I had scheduled two weeks in advance and for which I had made special arrangements to be off work and home for the plumber, they told me they couldn't find a water heater replacement that day but they could reschedule for the next day. That was not possible for me and I was a little upset when they told me all the technicians were already in the field and is was not possible to come to my house that day. To make a long story short, the supervisor made arrangements to come to my house on a Sunday, an off day for him, in order to solve the problem and "take care of me." He arrived spot on time that Sunday and it took him only10 minutes, but he was very polite and professional and at no time did he display any anger at being inconvenienced. Claraval, the secretary who had to deal with me on the phone, was equally polite and professional, and was genuinely trying to help solve the issue. She always called back when she said she would and never did I get the feeling she was trying to blow me off (although she may have wanted to). I appreciate this type of service and I think it speaks well of this company and the degree to which they honor the ideal of good customer service. I would not hesitate to use this company again. Their work is great and their customer service is even better. read more

They did sewer lateral at my investment property. They did a very good job, professional. They replaced over 150 ft of old ceramic pipe underground with a new plastic pipe and got a certificate. It was a no small job. They obtained all the permits and restored the street pavement and all the concrete on my property (that they dug) to their original form after the job was done. The patches are not noticeable. We did not have many quotations given to us for the job - just 3. Plumbing Tech were sufficiently lower than others to give them the job The reason I knock down one star is because they cannot estimate time properly. Their boss, Adrian, said they will arrive at 9 AM. The crew showed up at 10:30. I called Adrian, texted. There was no response. Then, the job was estimated for 1 day. It took 2 days for them to finish the pipe replacement. I did not mind at all that they take their time as long as the job is done properly. I was initially surprised how they estimated this job for one day only. After 2 days of work they only had to restore the concrete on the property which they trenched and to connect the garage to the main pipe. It was already dark and we agreed that they will come one more time. Initially, there was a crew of 2-4 people there but on the last day they sent one guy only who wasn't instructed to connect the garage. He leveled the trenches and prepared to pour the concrete when I pointed to him that the garage is not connected to the sewer. So, he opened the trench; he connected the garage to the main sewer line; he leveled the dirt over the trench again, poured concrete and completed the job. I didn't care how much time it took them, but for someone it maybe important. What I am saying is - they do a terrific job, meaning the results are perfect. They, however, are clueless as to how long it might take. Just be ready that it will last longer. I would recommend them to a friend and I already booked them for the next job on the property. read more

Plumbing leak under the slab during the winter holiday. Arturo came out with the middle bid, but won the bid since he was able to best articulate the scope of work and job expectations; any issues outside of the expectations were professionally handled and communicated. Plumbing tech's Adrian(owner) and his brother Arturo had given us a positive experience. Our sewer pipe broke last year and Adrian fixed our water pressure yesterday which was too high. They did a great job on both. They not only saved me money but they're the people I need on my team if we ever have any sewer/plumbing problems based from our experience with them. Yesterday, Adrian came and thoroughly explained to me what was needed to fix my water pressure and how much. He gave me a very good price compared to other quotes that others have given me. I like to do as much homework and research as a general rule. Adrian finished putting in the regulator and the copper pipes and it was nice. I took a before and after photo and it was nice to look at. You can't put a price on a good feeling knowing your problem is fixed. What a great relief. He also noticed I had a broken sprinkler systems and even tried to repair one of the broken valves but he didn't have his other tool to fix it. He gave me steps what I need to do to fix it and even gave me his last remaining repair kits. This is the same experience I had with Arturo last year which was going out of their way to help without any expectations. We don't have much but we were so grateful for such a great job and helpfulness, that we gave Adrian our freshly picked crunchy, organic persimmons from my parents tree and a couple of movie tickets so he and his wife can enjoy themselves. Last year, the warranty company sent us three repair service company to fix our sewer. The first one too pricey. The 2nd one was awful in terms or customer service and professionalism. Arturo showed up and he listened carefully when I described the issue. He was well mannered, polite and respectful. He explained to me afterwards what was needed to be done in a methodical, systematic approach. He worked with us on price and that was very helpful for us since we're a one income family. We were beyond relief when Arturo did above and beyond what was needed to fix our sewer/plumbing nightmare. You can tell when someone is sincerely good in heart, cares about people and wanting to help versus someone just showing up to do a job. He put in SDR 17 pipes compared to the old clay that was there, cemented the opening access after he put new copper plumbing to connect to the house and install new sewer caps by the sidewalk along with all for easier access. I know they've been in the business well over a decade and had licensed credentials to fix any major plumbing issues so I went with them again, but most importantly are their listening skills. They knew to pay attention to what I was saying. The take away for us was that both brothers understood the importance of providing good experience and quality service. read more

Repipe Specialists referred me to this company when they could not work within my time frame. I had a slab leak that when repaired, it kept popping more leaks; hence I decided to do a reroute to the attic. Brian, who did the bid, was professional, and explained the process well. He was patient with my questions and concerns. I did four bids and went with Plumbing Tech, because they were close in price to the other bids, but could leave me in the position of only having to paint when finished. The reroute crew was organized and finished faster than expected. They did have to do a few things after the city inspection, but worked well with the inspector and were able to get them completed and still get the drywall and texturing done on time. I was a little disappointed with the texturing job - it did not match as well as a previous job I had had done, but once I had painted it looked much better than I first thought. They cleaned up well inside, but left the outside a little messy. Both crews that came were friendly, professional and hard working. I would recommend them to family or friends who are considering reroutes. read more
