This is a good time to thank Plumbing Concepts for their services because we had a sewer backup last night and Pablo, their plumber, fixed it earlier this afternoon in a matter of minutes. We have been using Plumbing Concepts over the last 18 months because they were selected by our builder uses to install and service our tankless water heater. In addition to servicing our tankless water heater, Pablo has installed plumbing fixtures for us as well as installing a water softening unit. Plumbing Concepts is the company our builder uses to install and initially service our tankless hot water heater. We had a couple of minor glitches over the last year and each time Plumbing Concepts came out and adjusted what needed to be fixed. After a year, we hired them to flush our system due to heavy water in the area. The cost was nothing because of our warranty. But even though we're not seeing much lime or discoloration in the house, it was still a good preventative measure for our system. read more

We purchased a home in which the builder used Plumbing Concepts. The finish installer failed to do a proper job installing and has now ruined our cabinets. The installer only installed 2 out of 3 screws for the collar on the disposal. This has caused the sink to leak onto the disposal over time. Recently my wife told me the disposal wouldn't work anymore, and I found this rusted out mess. I had to cut out the disposal to replace it. The second part is that the plumber never installed a compression slip joint washer into the disposal elbow that runs to the ptrap. Instead he decided to put plumbers putty on the threads. Seems like a lack of training, or care from the installer. read more

We had a water softener unit installed at our house. We compared Costco and Plumbing Concepts. Costco Eco Water rep quoted us an outrageous price for a water softener that used potassium stating that it would be quite difficult to install a sodium unit due to the sewer trap being located in our back yard. The Eco Water Costco rep also proposed running an outlet pipe under our gravel in our side yard and allowing the Potassium to run out into our soil and bushes in the side yard. I found out later that this proposal of dumping potassium from a softener into the soil is illegal in the State of CA. This Eco Water Costco rep kept talking to us for over an hour before revealing his pricing for 3 different units that he labeled "good, better, and best". He stated that most people (of course) want the best unit for their home. Anthony from Plumbing Concepts came to our house and gave us an estimate for a sodium unit at a much lower price point. He did not take long to show us exactly he would deal with the drain pipe from the unit and how the electrical work would be done. Work was completed within two weeks of accepting Plumbing Concepts' estimate. It was done by Anthony and he hid the pipes that he extended into our backyard quite nicely under the scree of the house. Needed my Rennai system serviced and flushed as a maintenance and was also having problems with hot water in one shower.
