Fast. Friendly. Reliable. You may look over the reviews for Buss and think, "surely they paid these…read morepeople off to write such kind words on Buss' work and service, right?" And the answer would be no. Matt is actually, legitimately, professionally that good. A rare combination of quick service, friendly demeanor, and professional expertise in approaching plumbing and mechanical challenges. As anyone who's ever had to deal with complex mechanical or plumbing projects knows, there's always more than one way to approach a problem, and Matt's creative and thoughtful approach to these situations is a great way to ensure the work gets done well and within budget. I've used Matt for both servicing of heat pumps and installation of whole house water filters and all situations Matt's been fast, effective, and reasonable on pricing. Compare that other larger providers with longer turnaround times and a litany of subcontractors feeding their over-capitalized organizations where you can't actually interact with another human being without a corporate iPad price quote for services you don't need and a markup, you don't want to pay intrinsically involved. Here's a professional who's legitimately interested in understanding the project and doing the work well.

Matt was quick and professional and gave me a good recommendation on replacing our water heater with a trusted brand along with a reasonable price. He came through the next day and was did a great job in putting in the new unit. Their work comes with an one year warranty and the product has a lifetime warranty so we don't have to worry again for at least some time. Flexible, responsive, professional, and reliable. My dad is fully satisfied.

For many years I had the same plumbing company do all my work, and they were always reliable and…read morehonest. They sold their business and I am in the unfortunate position of finding a new plumber, so I called Foster Plumbing and Heating Inc. If you want to be scammed, call Eric Foster Plumbing and Heating. When I called them to make an appointment for routine maintenance of my year-and-a-half old AC, I was quoted a price of $225. Nothing was said about this being an hourly charge or about other charges. I have been having furnace and AC maintenance done for about 60 years and the charge for this work has been a flat fee. The work generally takes an hour or less. The only additional charge I have ever had o pay has been $10 for a filter if I did not supply my own. When I got a bill for $432, I was sure it was an error, so I called them to request a corrected bill. It was then that I was told that the $225 was an hourly fee. Since the technicians had not been at my home for more than an hour, the charge was still more than I had been quoted. I was then told that they had been working at my home for an hour and 15 minutes, so I was charged for an extra 15 minutes. However, Foster has a strange kind of math as they charged for a half hour for those 15 minutes. That would be $112.50 for that "extra" 15 minutes. Add to that the $94.50 which I was told covered the cost of the liquid used to clean the coils. Pretty expensive liquid, something I have never been charged for in the past!! I was also not told that there would be an additional charge when I made the appointment. I supplied my own filter. As an added "bonus", when I turned my shower on the next morning I was bombarded with ice cold water. Fortunately, I determined that the water heater temperature had been turned off by the technician and carelessly not turned back on. If it had been necessary to call Foster to solve this problem, I would have been billed another $225 or more. I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income, and I live alone. It is necessary for me to be able to hire reliable and honest workmen. Foster Plumbing and Heating certainly will not go on my list of honest and reliable workmen.
