Called on a…read moreSaturday morning just before a major snow storm, so very anxious to get it fixed and not heard back from a couple phone calls to another number. So glad they were the ones to get back in touch! Kaiden was on it immediately, found the clog, took care of it and we were back in business in less than an hour. We could not recommend this business highly enough!

Had to have the pump in my basement bathroom pump-up tank replaced. While the job was eventually…read moredone, there were a number of problems. First, the tech misquoted the pricing (three times) on his way in - by several hundred dollars. I found this out being handed the bill on his way out the door - 'I made a mistake'. When taking the tank apart, broke most of the PVC connecting to the septic tank. It was all replaced, so I guess I got some of my money's worth, but they were unable, for some reason, to remove one of the tank cover bolts, so they just spun the cover around on that one bolt. We won't know until warm weather if they were successful in properly sealing everything back down. The entire area around the tank (my utility room) ended up literally soaked in septic tank water. The removed pump was deposited in the middle of the floor. (At one point, they wanted to walk a bucket of vaccumed up septic water through the house to dump it in my upstairs toilet.) There was no care taken to protect carpet in the process of removing any of the old (septic) materials out of the basement. There was no effort made to dry or disinfect the utility room at all. The second reason for the call was a clogged sink drain upstairs. We provided access to the cleanout downstairs. When the pipe was finally snaked, the resulting black clog coming out of the cleanout missed a waiting trashbag, and was deposited on the carpet, splattered in a living area. There was no protection used on the floor at all. The tech said, 'I sprayed cleaner on it, it will dry with no stain'. It took me personally two hours plus of cleanup work to remove the mess they left. I also spent another hour or so disinfecting the utility room. With their own photographs for evidence, I still had to make a number of calls to get the attention of their office manager, who finally agreed to a small refund to cover my time. This ended up as a bill of around $2000. Although the work was 'performed', apparently the concept of customer service has been abandoned in our current culture. I couldn't help feeling like they thought I should have had no complaints. I had a bunch, and frankly the $250 compensation off the final bill was still insulting. Overall, a horrific experience - I would not recommend this company to anyone, for anything, thanks.

And he told me $545.0 Finding out I needed a hydro jetting He said 1,200.$ For the first 2 hours and then 450 every hour after. To hydrojet my pipes. I asked him if the 545.00 I paid yesterday we would account for anything. They said no. I also asked if they would give a discount. Offering $50.00 discount I asked how much the hydro was again and they said $1,200. For 2 hours. And every hour after that would cost me $450. I told them that I would call him back. I called another company to come out. Look at my problem. They suggested I need ed to get hydro jetted. Which I didn't disagree. And he said after the job was completed $295.00. different company completely charged me way less. And didn't give me any b******* line or make me feel like if I didn't make a decision right then and there that I would have nobody to come help me. The guy on the phone kept saying you have like 10 minutes and our day is full. Like he's trying to stress me out or something that if I don't hurry up and book I there will be no more openings for me. Save myself a bunch of money by going somewhere else that wasn't so pushy .

We had our HVAC and tankless unit installed by MillTown in 2020 as part of a hydronic heating…read moresystem. A month ago, the commercial‑grade tank they installed failed. Rheem covered the tank under warranty, but MillTown charged $5,800 for the replacement which was essentially a retrofit with minimal changes. After reviewing the work, it was clear the job should have been closer to $3,000 based on industry standards and actual scope. Unfortunately, the workmanship was disappointing. The system was left in a condition that doesn't reflect professional standards -- including a drain valve positioned against another pipe, making it impossible to drain the system properly. I provided photos and a detailed email to Milltown expressing these concerns. Their response was that there "wasn't much to do," and they offered only a $500 credit toward a future service. Given the excessive pricing and the quality of work, a credit for a future service wasn't a reasonable solution, and I declined it. Another concern: their website offers no way to contact the owner or any managers directly. For a company that presents itself as family‑run, that lack of transparency says a lot. Overall, the experience was frustrating from the high cost to the poor workmanship to the dismissive response. Based on this, I cannot recommend MillTown for plumbing or HVAC services.
