I asked both of them what about his check is altered? I asked why didn't you call the number on the check? There is a specific bank number and why would you tell one of your returning clients that has his ID on file that you're gonna call the police on him if they return a check ? Both Melody and Jennifer had different stories as to why it was "altered" After a conversation with Melody, Melody said that I can have the check back so I told Jennifer.
