We have had a wet basement since we moved into our new built house 12 years ago…read more The last rain storm produced approximately 25 gallons of water sucked up by my wet/dry vac. We called Foundation Recovery and luckily were put in contact with Michael Drebes who took care of us with a complete waterproof System. We had Ricky and crew working on the system install and they did a fantastic job of getting it done. Last night we had our first heavy rain and our basement is dry as a bone for the first time in 12 years. A big THANK YOU to Foundation Recovery for taking such good care of our situation. No more worries & Let it rain

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Never. I paid $30,000 to Foundation Recovery…read moreSystems to fix a flooding basement, and here I am months later; still flooded. Still leaking. Nothing was actually fixed. I trusted them because I saw their commercials everywhere and figured a company that big would know what they were doing. I was wrong. They came in, did their "assessment," and told me exactly what needed to be done. I paid for two walls to be repaired. When it was done, I thought the nightmare was finally over. It wasn't. The water still comes in at every edge; it's the exact same places they told me they were sealing. When I actually looked at what they'd done, it wasn't a real repair at all. It looked like plastic sheeting stapled up behind the wall. For $30,000. I am a senior, and I feel like I was taken advantage of and scammed by this company. Now there's mold growing in my basement because of their failed work. I have a tenant living there, and she is pregnant. Black mold is not something you can ignore; it's a real health risk for her and her baby. This wasn't a minor issue. This should have been fixed correctly the first time for that kind of money. I am so disappointed and honestly disgusted. I trusted a company with a name that sounds official and reliable, "Foundation Recovery Systems," and instead I got a sloppy, careless, incomplete job that left my home in worse shape than before, with a health hazard on top of it. Do not make the same mistake I did. Get someone else. Get a real inspection. Do not trust this company with your home or your money.

You might expect a quality company that does the right things given it's a family legacy concrete business of 90 years, but that is NOT what they provide. Dealing with them was a nightmare. FCON cut corners, knowingly did unpermitted work that failed two city codes, was caught by an inspector, then charged me extra to fix it while holding my driveway hostage despite an "expedited" timeline, took my money immediately but rarely showed up to do the job even with frequent follow-up calls, alternated between no communication and lying to me repeatedly, and took 2.5 weeks for a small job, which is 5 times longer to complete than an average job stated in their contract. The cleanup was substandard, leaving splatters all over the front screen door, deep concrete tire grooves in the front yard and a sprinkling of grass seed, and the re-worked section is a noticeably different color from the rest of the driveway. Who knows what other corners were cut or how long it will last? Word to the wise: Reputable companies will obtain proper permits and inspections rather than actively avoiding them. If the contract states that the homeowner is to obtain permits, immediately find a different company!

I recently hired this company to replace my asphalt driveway and our front concrete walkway. They…read moredid the work and finished the work on Friday, October 3rd. As my pictures show, their old equipment managed to leak oil all over our street. I was embarrassed to see what they had done. The owner, Matt, said it was no big deal because our street was "ugly" (his words) anyway. When Travis finished the job on Friday, we agreed that he would come back on Sunday morning with equipment to pressure wash the street using hot water. This was his suggestion because traffic would be lighter then. Guess what? He never came back. I never saw him again. The job came with a one year warranty. I called Matt last week to look at some stains on the new asphalt and see what could be done before they became permanent. I have yet to see him. He also never came back. He took my money and left and obviously has no intention of coming back. Other homes in our area have had asphalt work done and no contractor has left a mess like this. I chose the wrong company and regret it. Hope you learn from my mistake.
