I appreciated the high touch sales experience as I have a hard time with fit. I just wish that the styles were a little more fashion forward. The price point is higher so I hope the quality is also there, but so far I am very happy with my purchase.

I have a difficult foot to fit - high instep, etc. I live about an hour and a half away so called ahead of time to discuss fit. I was assured their staff all are fit experts and that they stand behind their shoes fitting properly. I travelled to Victoria on a Saturday. The woman I dealt with ended up selling me a pair of sandals and a pair of ballet flats - somewhere over $400 for the two. The sandal instep strap was quite tight but the fitter advised "it will loosen up in an hour or two". It did not. The flats were fitting large, even with a pair of socks. Fitter did not have the proper size but said if I added heel grippers, they would be fine. I did - and nearly killed myself the first time I wore them as the left shoe is so loose it fell right off. Called to find out what could be done. If I came in they would "work with me" to adjust the fit of the shoes. Now I guess it may be possible to somehow stretch the instep strap on the sandal but in no way are they going to be able to shorten the flat or lengthen my foot. They stand "behind" alright - behind their return policy for the shoes. There is no standing behind their inept and hard sell fitters/sales people. The person I talked to actually indirectly accused me of misrepresenting what the fitter had said.....I have a witness so nice try. All this store wants is to sell shoes, they don't care if they are the right shoes or if they fit properly. I have had SAS shoes before - purchased in a store that actually knew what they were doing. Unfortunately, those stores are not in Victoria. I will NEVER go back to this one and will make sure everyone I know is aware as well. Really really poor customer service.

Guess they don't need the $$ or the sales. Next up was my guy who wanted to buy a pair of boots. He picked out two pair of Clark's and they didn't have one in his size and the other one had a damaged insole as though they were defective. They didn't care. It was "see ya later!". Needless to say we wouldn't go back not recommend this place to anyone. They have better sales people at Payless Shoes! And their prices are 10 x's the amount at Soft Moc! No no no!

Purchased a pair of boots and shoes when they had the sale 'Buy one, get another at half price'…read more The boots were regular price; however, was told by shoe representative that they would credit a price difference if they came on sale. The boots came on sale, but they refused to credit the difference!! Owner stated that it was a final sale. Nowhere on the receipt does it show it was a final sale! Absolutely ridiculous! We have shopped there for years; however, will no longer shop there. They are untrustworthy and do not value their customers. I will also be writing a review on Yelp.
