I stopped by after lunch at a nearby ramen place, thinking I could pick up my first Montréalais bubble tea, but I discovered this is a legit tea shop sans toppings. I noticed that shop has a calm ambiance, and with just one person at the register as I pondered the choices, I settled on the iced coconut cream oolong latte. I requested the lowest amount of sugar and less ice. The woman helping me was friendly and patient and made my drink just as I'd requested. Great service and a nice place to have conversations. So the coconut cream is actually the flavor of the oolong and I got to choose between dairy, almond, and soy milks. I went with almond and as I took my first sip, I gasped to both of my ATs that the tea was *very* good. I passed my cup around as we walked on Saint-Catherine and they both agreed. I grabbed a baklava cookie to go, though I've yet to try it. I saw a kunafa cookie that piqued my interest, seeing as I love the actual Middle Eastern knafeh. I shall return to try it. And maybe a matcha one, if any remain.

Had the great pleasure of being introduced to this amazing tea shop! We have plenty of spots all over the city to get good coffee but we're lacking on great fresh tea shops. Plentea is here to change the game! Plentea is located right on Ste Caths and offers the best tea experience you'll ever have! They have several menu items from green teas to oolongs and everything inbtween however don't expect to get your regular old tea bag because here you'll have all your apices and teas measured and made fresh to order each time. So you know it'll be the best tea you ever drink. If you had to try only one of the amazing teas from here get your self the chai karak I promise it'll be something you love. And if you get hungry they've got cookies that go great with any tea bonus points for dunking!

Came here for a yelp elite event and just had to get the salted caramel tea (Amber spice) !!! The crew here were super passionate about their Tea Bar!! They were very knowledgeable about the teas. They performed a beautiful presentation on the teas they served and we got to try 3 different kinds ! We even got custom made sleeves so personalized wow! The teas were fresh , authentic and just insanely flavourful everything was amazing ! You can tell the owners are devoted to offering the best experience and the freshest spices/herbs in each tea you sip. My favourite was the Chai Karak it was just delicious can't explain ... I'll try lol: It was super frothy wow and super spicy but sweet as well it was an amazing fresh taste It was like drinking liquid gold .. super addicting I could chug down at least 5 of them if there was any left!! Ahahaha The tropical raindrop for me was a close second very sweet and berry flavoured ! I really enjoyed it ! In addition, I purchase the Amber spice on the secret menu it had salted caramel with Matcha Woow it was delicious definitely worth it Price was : super reasonable for what you get and how nothing is in tea bags ... you get your tea served freshly !! The Treats were deeellishhh I enjoyed the creamy savoury sweet paratha.. the bread texture was soft and crispy and paired super well with my teas mmm The decor was exquisite ! I really loved their menu everything is super self explanatory.. there was green , black , chai, tisanes and oolong teas you have the option to get them hot or cold as well super interesting its like a starbucks but for Tea ! It was a beautiful experience I definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back here again 1000% Woohoo great event I had a blast!! Cheers xo

I was fortunate to be invited to this hidden gem. I thought I knew a lot about teas until this great event. The owners gave a great crash course on the teas and then we were lucky enough to try some with some desert parings. Their of knowledge teas was very educationional. First off parking was a bit hard to find but there is public transportation. The store is like the Starbucks of teas. They do not use tea bags as they blend the spices and use a method to extract the flavours There are so many tea combinations to try I will highlight my favorite which was the Chai karak. This was probably the best chai tea or tea I have had. I could taste a bit of gingerbread and pumpkin spice with hints of vanilla. This is likely due to the presence of cardamom. This is my opinion I tried there deserts. Wow wow wow . All of them were so fresh and could taste that they were home made. This is a must place to try and you will thank me

The highlight for me is the tasting table. There's six tables you can walk in and sit at, and the menu has one item per type of tea (white, green, etc). Each order comes with two contrasting teas within the category (Chinese vs Japanese green), for you to enjoy head-to-head. I hear they rotate the teas, see pic for example of the menu! The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with my many questions. As a tea shop they have a massive selection of teas in an easily understood menu, and many quite nice teaware pieces that are reasonably priced and designed specifically by/for Camellia Sinensis. They also sell tea drinks to go! Limited selection vs tasting table, but a good variety of different tea types. There is no food. Note this is a marked difference from the tasting room/mini restaurant that existed here pre-covid, and is described by many older reviews.

Whenever it was possible I looked forward to showing friends and family this very special place. I suppose now my experiences will remain a memory; As I have returned to Montreal with hopes of visiting and sharing this tea house once again only to walk in and find that they no longer serve any tea. You can still purchase loose tea and some beautiful tea sets but I am sadden that the experience is just not the same.

There are about 4 wooden tables available where you can sit and order from the expansive tea menu. It really is an experience like no other. We ordered the jasmine flower and green tea sets, as well some steamed buns. The couple who owns the establishment are very kind and eager to show you the art of tea drinking. The owner arrives at your table with your super cool tea drinking set, and proceeds to pour the hot water into a cup containing the tea leaves. This is then poured into a sieve and finally, you pour it into the drinking cup. The tea itself was very aromatic and light. I've never felt so tranquil and at ease. Sitting in front of a view of Old Montreal and sipping warm and fresh tea was one unforgettable experience.
