This place is amazing! I'm not from this state but I was in search of new boots. I went to a bunch of stores in search of a pair, then I finally came to this place. I arrived 5 mins before close though and was told very clearly by an elder woman to come back tomorrow... so I did! When I walked in the door the following day, the girls giggled at me for being accosted the night prior and apparently they had heard about it from other staff. We all started laughing and joking about it and it was a great way for me to feel welcomed. It felt like I was shopping with friends and that made it a very comfortable situation for me. They pointed me to their selection of boots, which is huge and I began searching. I was looking for steel toe cowboy boots, which they had but nothing grabbed my attention. BUT they do have a huge selection of boots there. I turned to my right and saw a large selection of clothing, specifically I saw jeans and wanted to take a glance. I'm a tall man (6'5") and am almost always let down at a jean selection because of my size (33x36). To much of my surprise, they had a HUGE selection of pants, which had inseams up to 40"!! That's insane! So naturally I started putting pants into my shopping selection then I saw they had an entire selection for big and tall. I walked in looking for boots... ended up leaving with pants and shirts that I love! Thank you to everyone here who made me feel at home and also for letting me pet your cute pup!

Terrible, rude and unfriendly staff. Waste of time looking for boots at this store.

This is probably my favorite store in the Twin Cities. It has a huge selection of designer and…read more"made for the rack staple" items that are surprisingly organized for an outlet store. You can shop here without getting completely overwhelmed. They have handbags, beauty items, shoes (TONS OF SHOES), tops, pants, overwear, kids items and a few other miscellaneous. I've gotten some great deals here including $465 Stuart Weitzman booties for $150, $150-255 BCBG sweaters for $19 each, Calvin Klein coat for under $100, and Aloe yoga pants & tank for $19 each. This store is my heaven. I cannot go inside unless I have some money to spend because I will find something I want to buy. TIP: Don't bother heading to the cash registers to pay for your items. Just find a team member and they will check you out themselves without a wait!

Visiting Nordstrom's Racks sometimes feel like a treasure hunt. You never know if you're going to…read morefind that designer bag or shoes for 80% off or if all you're going to find is the Nordstrom rack brand items. That's what makes it fun! The Rack in Maple Grove is decent sized and well laid out. They tend to have a bit of a smaller selection of the higher end designers that you can find at the Mall of America Nordstrom rack but still a decent variety. They carry women's, men's, children's, shoes, accessories and home goods. Parking is plentiful but the traffic flow is a little tricky directing you right into the first row. That row gets 100% of incoming traffic so I'd recommend parking one or two over. Customer service here is always good. While you are kind of on your own to hunt the racks (if you want a personalized shopping experience head to the actual Nordstrom's) the employees always seem to be in a good mood and helpful when checking out. Dressing rooms are always clean and they have plenty of spaces to try on items. It helps when people return unwanted items to the return racks so do your part and don't leave them in the room. Overall I think visiting this location is fun and I rarely leave empty handed!
