Erin is brilliant, wise, empathetic and most of all, treats you as a partner in your health care. She remembers everything about me and my life every time I see her, is constantly working on improving her skills to better meet my needs, while providing me with valuable education about my health along the way! She is one of my favorite needlers - unlike some people she never stabs you and she has such a calming bedside manner you hardly realize the needles are going in! I always feel like I get a free therapy session with my acupuncture session. Her massages are OUT OF THIS WORLD. You wouldn't expect such a small package to be so powerful but she gets deeper than anyone else and really knows how to manipulate your body to making a lasting difference. Combo acupuncture/massage is the most amazing and luxurious experience ever. She also is an insurance expert and has really helped me to get the most out of my benefits while paying the least! She is very sensitive to budgets (I'm a poor grad student after all!) and very respectful about sensitive money issues. I have had maybe 8 or 9 professional massages in the past 10 years, and I have left every one feeling disappointed. Even when the massage therapist came highly recommended, I just never got what I wanted out of the experience. It was always like, what's all this hype about? So when I booked my first appointment with Mary, I was skeptical to say the least. To my unending delight, I can report that Mary truly delivers! By the end I felt so relaxed it almost felt like I'd been drugged. So amazing! I'd told every other massage therapist that I like a lot of pressure, but always felt like they continued to hold back. Not Mary! She's a master! Today I went for the acupuncture/massage combo as a little due date gift to myself, and man, I feel better than I've felt in ages. I had no idea I could feel so great at 40 weeks pregnant! Mary also is a fabulous listener and gives great feedback. Her positive energy was probably as effective as her treatments in helping me relax and embrace the end of pregnancy (which is such a difficult time for so many women). I walked in with so much anxiety and now I feel supercharged and zen at the same time. Thank you, Mary!

I have nerve damage in three of my toes from my foot being run over by a car so the nerves began acting up again making it hard to walk properly. I called on Friday for an appt. as soon as possible. Tiffany, the recpt., was so nice, she gave me an appt the next morning w/ Marco. I showed up just before 9 a.m. and filled out paperwork and Marco sat w/ me to review my medical history and asked about my foot injury. He was very professional w/ me and instructed me on how the process of the open room w/ multiple chairs works. He said I should walk into the room and select a chair and recline in it and he would be right in. He then asked if I needed to watch the time and if not I could stay as long as I wanted. Marco came in and began putting needles in and then asked me if I wanted a blanket and I responded yes. He brought one over and draped it over me and told me to signal to him when I felt ready to end the session. I must have been in the chair over an hour I was so relaxed. Marco was wonderful and when I got up to leave my left foot felt REMARKABLY better. No stabbing pain when I walked. Day two and my foot feels much better. I'll be going back for more treatments...I really appreciate the sliding scale fee so I can afford to be treated twice a week for the next 3 weeks until I feel 100 percent better again.
