    Summary Timeline of Refund Dispute - Plaza Auto Mall * May -3,2024 Business (Plaza Auto Mall) confirmed and promised a refund would be issued to me. I was told that the refund would be processed without the need for in-person follow-up. I complied with all their requests. * June 2024 I waited patiently for the refund. Despite follow-up attempts, there was no update. I did not receive any confirmation or payment. * Late June 2024 I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau due to continued lack of refund and response. * June 30, 2024 The business responded to the BBB saying I refused to come in person, and therefore they would not proceed. This contradicts their original commitment and is an unreasonable barrier to refund.

    Great place but stay away from LESTER JONES IN THE SALES DEPARTMENT bought a used car from him 2022 Toyota Highlander it was used it was missing a trim off the roof rack I ask he said don't worry about it I'll take care of it siad in 2 days I'll have it I got it it's been 3 weeks I have been calling texting no answer when he answers he said your suppose to call the parts department in which this is the first time I'm hearing and ask for Marco no problem. Calll spoke to everyone in the parts department. They said no order was placed see the sales person for further assistance mind you he never answers not professional at all just be careful his WORD MEANS NOTING he's a great talker the mistake on my end was not having it in writing mind you the car was paid in full and can't get a response from the person that sold me the vehicle

    The airbag was not properly installed.  The panel was left open.  I will be contacting Toyota.

    I have been to other locations and they weren't as welcoming…read more I like this one. They appear to be pretty honest with assessing what the car needs. They do offer coffee while you wait. A comfortable waiting area. They have called me while I'm waiting to give updates. I am able to make appointments on line. The service requested is always taken care of. Can't complain about the value, everything in the world is expensive.

    This has been a horrible experience!! Both with the specific location I went to AND (most…read moredisappointing) with the 'complaint department'. When I spent $700 for new tires (a) I had to wait FIVE hours (b) they never balanced the tires (c) they left off every single vlave cover I called immediately at 800-737-2697 and was given a case # (#318669) and was told my concerns were being expedited - and that a supervisor would call me back the next day. This was on April 9th. I have since called a total of THREE TIMES asking for someone to help me resolve this and still no one has ever called me back. It is now April 20th and have given up. At this point it appears that Pep Boys has simply taken my $700, left me with unbalanced tires that will wear out prematurely ... and even the corporate office does not care in the least to even respond to my concerns. After being a Pep Boys customer for 40 years, I am now sorry that I ever decided to bring my car there. I will never again recommend anyone to use Pep Boys again.
