Great customer service. Friendly, professional, and trustworthy. I prefer going to a family-owned…read moreshop that's been around for decades. It's reassuring. I am a woman and it's great to go into an auto shop and not have to worry about dealing with weasels. Example: The week before, they fixed a flat (different tire) which saved me the expense of having to buy a new tire. This week, I got a flat on a different tire (unlucky!). They were able to quickly replace my flat tire with a new one of the same brand, size, and series (would have bought two new tires, but couldn't fit in the budget). Even though their website didn't have any scheduled appointments, Tyler and Chase were able to squeeze me in. They gave me a great price and had me out the door in about 15 minutes. Thank you for the fast, capable service, Tyler and Chase! And after everything (both times), they properly stowed the spare tire! Waiting area is clean, comfortable, with free drinks. It even has a small table and chair set for kids. Garrett Tire & Auto will be my go-to from now on. Highly recommended!

I took my truck to the shop a few weeks ago told them there was a squeaky noise, when I spoke with…read morethem on the phone they stated they would look at it free of charge. They call me tell me the noise that I was hearing was from my big tires on my truck and charge me for a tire rotation, which I never agreed for them to do. I get to the shop asked them if they would ride with me to hear the noise I was originally talking about. To their surprise, they heard the noise I was originally referring to.I tell them what I think it might be and I left the truck with them to look at it again. I've attached the estimate they gave me to fix what "the issue was". My husband looks at it because he said there's no way that noise could be from what they stated. And what did he find out, sure enough all it was was broken brake clips. This cost me roughly $12 I think to replace. The whole point to this post is to say, wait let your husband look at it or you can just take it to the shop like I did get charged for something it didn't need and then get lied to about an expensive unnecessary repair. Also,I've learned that even though this is 2024 we are still in the 1900s Era where men think women don't know crap.

Top quality customer service…read more One of the most thorough vehicle inspections I have received. Highly recommend this company for your vehicle service needs.

Follow-Up (4 Years Later) because I was curious if this shop ever got better and I didn't realize I…read morecould give an update. The owners response to my review was essentially to dismiss my experience and blame me for the issues. He also called me to "discuss" the issue further (only after I left my negative review) - i had to end the phone call because it was clear he only wanted to argue further, and what was the point of that? In response to the owners reply: If using a salvaged transmission was the reason for the extended timeline, why wasn't I told upfront that this could mean waiting two months? I was never given that expectation. I was left repeatedly calling for updates, receiving vague answers, and having to micromanage the repair process just to get information about my own vehicle. The owner also stated that the first transmission was "bad" and implied that this wasn't their fault. But that doesn't address my actual complaint: the tech admitted to me that he didn't know much about jeeps and realized the transmission they installed wasn't compatible with my vehicle because it couldn't be programmed to it. That mistake, along with the lack of communication and the fact that I ultimately got my vehicle back with the original sluggishness still present. When complaining that my vehicle still had the same problems, they said "well all used transmissions are like that" ....so you purposely took my car knowing the complaints I brought it in for were never actually going to change? Please make that make sense. What stands out most to me is how blatantly the response deflected responsibility rather than addressing the concerns I actually raised. Instead of acknowledging any shortcomings in their communication, decision-making, or handling of the repair, the owner focused on shifting the blame onto me and circumstances surrounding the parts. It is one thing for a repair to go wrong; it is another to refuse to acknowledge any part in how the situation was handled. Their response gave me no reason to believe they had reflected on the experience or were willing to take accountability for their mistakes. I understand that repairs can be complicated and that parts can have problems. I never expected perfection. I gave grace over and over again until I no longer could. I expected honest communication, competent work, and accountability when things went wrong. Those expectations were not met. At no point in the owner's response did they meaningfully address the lack of communication, the repeated delays, the fact that I had to constantly follow up, or the unresolved issue with my vehicle. Instead, they focused on defending themselves. The fact that they chose to respond to my review four years later and still couldn't acknowledge the concerns I raised was particularly disappointing. I originally left my review because of my experience at this location. I'm updating it because the owner's response only reinforced my concerns. Mistakes happen, but accountability matters, and I saw very little of it here.

My story begins with a severe oil leak. ( not dripping but pissing out oil). We got oil change…read moredone in April ( 3 months earlier ) I didn't think this leak had anything to do with them but why not have them look just in case we had a defective filter or something loosened up. We dropped the car off the night before after hours and put key in drop box. The next morning I spoke with Paul and told him about my problem. He called me back after finding that we had a hose that sprung a leak that went to the oil cooler. I did some research on the internet and found that out Lexus model had a service bulletin on this and they were going to do this repair by replacing old rubber hose with new metal lines at NO CHARGE. Sounds great... just one problem... This repair needs to be completed by an Authorized Lexus dealer ( closest one in Tulsa ). They vehicle couldn't be driven 5 minutes never mind 2 hours. Paul and crew at Grease Monkey were willing to put a temporary rubber hose which would have allowed me to drive car but was not recommended by them because the risk of failure could be catastrophic. I was able to find replacement part from local parts store and they put new replacement part on for a very fair price which saved me from making a trip to Tulsa Lexus dealer. Thanks for going above and beyond and saving me a ton of time. That's what I call, Customer Service!!!!

After multiple expensive repairs, questionable inspections, and an alarming diagnosis, I have…read morecompletely lost trust in this Meineke location. I was a repeat customer who trusted this shop to maintain my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now I question whether the inspections/work I paid for were even performed. In August, I had my AC condenser replaced. Despite regular servicing and inspection reports indicating fluid levels had been checked, I later discovered my power steering reservoir was completely empty. When I questioned the reports, the service manager acknowledged his frustration and said he'd been "on" his technicians because they had been marking items inspected without actually checking them. He said my August inspection report was not a reliable reference. Hearing that from the manager himself was deeply concerning. In October, I returned for a coolant leak and paid for a radiator replacement and cooling-system flush. A noticeable rushing/sloshing sound could be heard behind the driver's side dash during acceleration--a sound I'd never heard before. I also discovered several clips and fasteners hadn't been reinstalled, requiring another trip to the shop. When I mentioned the sound, I was told it was normal coolant circulation. I explained that I'd owned the Jeep for years and had never heard it. Three days later, with the sound continuing, I returned and asked whether trapped air from the radiator replacement might need to be bled. Instead of a clear explanation, I was accused of having someone else work on the Jeep and of driving it while overheating. Neither was true. Meineke was the only shop I'd been using, and I had neither the time nor the money to arrange other repairs between those visits. I was returning because the sound following THEIR work. I was even told they didn't believe me when I said no one else had worked under the hood. Then I was told my Jeep had a blown head gasket. This is a serious, potentially expensive diagnosis. Yet the Jeep hadn't overheated, wasn't producing white exhaust smoke, had no apparent oil contamination, and wasn't misfiring or showing other obvious performance issues. I wasn't given clear documentation establishing how this diagnosis had been confirmed. Rather than authorize more work, I took it to a Jeep dealership for an independent inspection. They said the vehicle looked great and found no apparent leaks or immediate concerns. Even after I explained Meineke's diagnosis and the entire history, the service advisor didn't recommend more extensive head-gasket testing based on their findings and the absence of symptoms. They charged me nothing. The sloshing had also disappeared after Friday's Meineke visit, my coolant level has remained stable, and the Jeep continues to operate normally. I understand that the dealership's inspection cannot definitively rule out every internal engine problem, but the contrast between these experiences was striking. My concern isn't just a potentially incorrect diagnosis. It's the missing fasteners, the empty reservoir I caught myself, the manager's admission about unreliable inspections, the dismissive response to a new sound, and the accusations that I caused the problem or went elsewhere. After spending substantial money here, I should not have had to repeatedly return, question whether basic checks were performed, or seek a second opinion to feel confident about a major diagnosis. I cannot know why Meineke reached its conclusion...the service manager literally said they "attached a doohickey, pressurized it, and the head gasket failed." I do know that this experience destroyed my confidence in the shop. I will not return, and I strongly recommend getting an independent second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs here.
