I am a woman and it's great to go into an auto shop and not have to worry about dealing with weasels. Example: The week before, they fixed a flat (different tire) which saved me the expense of having to buy a new tire. This week, I got a flat on a different tire (unlucky!). They were able to quickly replace my flat tire with a new one of the same brand, size, and series (would have bought two new tires, but couldn't fit in the budget). Even though their website didn't have any scheduled appointments, Tyler and Chase were able to squeeze me in. They gave me a great price and had me out the door in about 15 minutes. Thank you for the fast, capable service, Tyler and Chase! And after everything (both times), they properly stowed the spare tire! Waiting area is clean, comfortable, with free drinks. It even has a small table and chair set for kids. Garrett Tire & Auto will be my go-to from now on. Highly recommended!

They call me tell me the noise that I was hearing was from my big tires on my truck and charge me for a tire rotation, which I never agreed for them to do. I get to the shop asked them if they would ride with me to hear the noise I was originally talking about. To their surprise, they heard the noise I was originally referring to.I tell them what I think it might be and I left the truck with them to look at it again. I've attached the estimate they gave me to fix what "the issue was". My husband looks at it because he said there's no way that noise could be from what they stated. And what did he find out, sure enough all it was was broken brake clips. This cost me roughly $12 I think to replace. The whole point to this post is to say, wait let your husband look at it or you can just take it to the shop like I did get charged for something it didn't need and then get lied to about an expensive unnecessary repair. Also,I've learned that even though this is 2024 we are still in the 1900s Era where men think women don't know crap.

I said yes and asked how much which he responded with 99.99 plus tax. After talking with him, I saw my car pulled to the front 20 minutes later. So, made my way up front to pay and the guy said that it would be 200 something dollars. I said the other guy said 99.99 which he responded "they did an extra 30 minutes on the back tire because it was tight". I refused to pay because that was a COMPLETE LIE AND NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD. However, there came a time when I needed a tire change and they were the only option. I am thrilled that this happened, because I have had nothing but a good experience here. Granted, I see that a lot of the negative comments are about the oil change service. I have never had my oil changed here, so I cannot speak to that. I can speak to their tire service. I don't think I would let them do anything else, because they are clearly a "TIRE SERVICE", not a place to get anything else done. I have another mechanic do those things. To me, it would be like going to a chicken restaurant, ordering a steak and giving a bad review. It's a chicken place. Their best product is a chicken, not steak. So, those reviews don't mean much to me. I have had multiple tires changed on 4 different cars. I have had multiple tires patched. All at fair prices. Even when they mess up (which they have), they take care of it at their cost. I have never had an issue with their tire service. As for customer service: it's always friendly and helpful. What else could you ask for. As for ambiance: well, it's a tire shop. They have complementary coffee, but its basic Folgers-type. So, don't expect much for free. The chairs are comfy. The place smells like rubber tires. No issues for me here. All in all: this is a great place for tire service. Highly recommended. I will return over and over again so long as I live in Tontitown.
