Since there is no other theater in the immediate area prices are substantially higher than what you would pay for an IMAX evening movie and in a larger city. The theatre as a whole is pretty run down - peeling wallpaper, bathroom facilities which are usually out of order, A/C that either doesn't work, leaves you sweating, or stuck with a damp musty odor. The screens in several auditoriums are dirty too. Watched a movie the other day and there was a large stain right off center. Seats are pretty trashy - either the spring that lets you lean back is too lose and you fall backwards or it doesn't lean at all. Floors are VERY sticky and auditoriums rarely seem cleaned after shows.

The employees were friendly as we entered the foyer and helped us select our seats; however, they then informed us that "because it's a free showing masks are required". I paused and considered this information. I walked away in frustration, but ended up going back to ask for clarification questions. I got confirmation that if I PAY for a ticket to watch a movie, I would have the freedom to not wear a mask, but when there's no MONEY involved, apparently the science changes and suddenly masks are required to save everyone's lives. I won't start a debate over the validity of masks on this review, that's not the point. The issue I have is that they "recommend" masks for paying customers and "require" masks for non-paying customers. I imagine they'd be hard pressed to explain the "science" behind that decision. Again... employees were pleasant; policies... not. I will never return.

They show independent movies, movies that the regular theaters don't show and foreign films. They also have movies from the 1950s ~ 2000s that are must see movies. It is a wonderful environment and I highly recommend. They serve popcorn, wine, beer and soda as well as candy and Askinosie Chocolate.
