Good food. Quiet and friendly staff. Airport is small and the lounge is centrally located. We visited during a 45 minute layover, that was enough time to get checked in, enjoy a meal and get to our gate with time to spare.

Well - True AC traveller has found a little lounge that is the cat's pyjamas at Winnipeg Airport. LOVE it.....much more relaxing than the Maple Leaf Lounge which is always way too busy. And this lounge has amazing food, drinks and customer service is exceptional! Worth every penny !

This is the Maple Leaf Lounge at Winnipeg's airport…read more I've been here twice now, though my recent visit just before Christmas I had a more prolonged stay to check out the features here. It's not a big lounge, but the essentials are there, such as a TV area, reasonable amount of couches and sofas, and shower rooms. Food wise don't expect much, it's mostly salads, soups, and cold handheld foods. Decent selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, all self serve. You probably will be hard pressed to spend more than an hour in here, unless you're watching TV. It is close to the AC gates though, so that's a plus.

I like this lounge. It is smaller than the handful that I have been to, but it is modern and…read morebright. I had to wait for five minutes for an Air Canada person to check me in. Luckily, I had plenty of time to spare. There was a TV and some comfy leather chairs. I plopped myself down and watched the Marilyn Denis Show, Cash Cab, and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. This lounge has canned pop. I was thrilled and got a Diet Coke. I normally do tea, but wanted something cold. This lounge also had hummus. I tore through it with a bunch of corn chips. So good! The bean salad was there. I had had lunch a couple of hours ago, so I didn't have it. It is yummy! The washrooms are clean. The bar looked great. I had three loud people join me at the TV. I didn't care for them, as I just didn't wanted to hear them. Luckily, they were separated on the plane, but we're sitting close by. Great lounge that was easy to find and offered everything that I needed. (162)

The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to everyone. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The chefs use the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful. The restaurant also offers a wonderful drink menu as well. I'm pretty sure that we would return for another visit the next time we're in Winnipeg.

We came over to Oak & Grain as a group on the arrival day of our conference. Crossed the street…read moreand went into the lobby of the Hilton and there it was. Greeting was very pleasant and they sat a group of 8 immediately. The waitperson was quite knowledgeable about local brews, and since I'm a local brew fan anywhere I go, opted for a double IPA that ended up being really good. Other folks had a single IPA, lagers, wine, etc. The menu is quite eclectic, with items ranging from the Filipino-infused Shanghai Lumpia, to soup and salad, to Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I wasn't particularly hungry and I thought their "appetizer" menus would be small dishes, and treated ordering like tapas, asking for a small plate of lumpia and a small plate of chicken tenders.... Oh well.... I get an entire dinner plate of lumpia and a full basket of chicken tenders, French fries and vegetables.... I left stuffed. Service was superb. Even asking for separate checks for the entire party, our waitperson didn't flinch an eye. Superb service, great food and good company.
