As someone who lives in the downtown core and doesn't have regular access to a car, this place has been a convenient place to pick up a few groceries on more than one occaisson. It's definitely more of a convenience store than a "grocery store" despite it's name but it does stock a lot of grocery staples like bread, snacks, condiments, dairy, and sometimes even the odd produce.
The prices are your typically inflated convenience store rates but not outrageous. A full size bag of chips probably runs around $3. There are no prices listed on the shelves so if you want to know mroe you'll have to ask at the counter.
The selection varies often but I've bought everything from cheese slices, to ketchup, to a can of soup, to a bag of potatoes (which I was sooo excited to find as I'd forgotten to grab this at Pete's earlier in the week).
If you live in the Brunswick st/Cogswell area there aren't really any other options for grocery type food, especially after lawtons in scotia square is closed (6pm most nights). Keep this place in mind for those odds and ends you need to pick up between grocery days.
They're open until 10pm every day which has been a life saver a few times. read more
