    Gas station.

Whenever I take a cruise up North to Canada, I always stop here to grab some candy that I can't get elsewhere (or I can, without the duties). This supermarket is located right next to the VIA RAIL terminal, and not too far from the cruise terminal. The exterior of the building looked okay. The interior looked nice, bright and clean. It had everything that a full, typical supermarket would have - fresh produce, a bakery, a deli, a pharmacy, and of course, the general merchandise. The shelves and aisles were very organized. Customer service was just okay. Like I said, I came here just so I could grab a certain kind of candy (by NESTLE) that I couldn't get elsewhere. Their candy selection was decently-sized, and it mostly carried the ones that I couldn't get in the US. A heavy emphasis was made on Nestle and Cadbury. If you have a certain favorite (in which I do), then you'll probably find what you're looking for. They also had a liquor area there too. Their selection was decent, but the prices were really high. Keep in mind that all liquor purchases must be made in that general area only. They also have a separate entrance if you don't plan on going into the supermarket at all. They also had a gas station outside too. A lot of the prices that I saw here were pretty high, hence the removal of two stars. But the sale prices seemed reasonable, even though what I got here wasn't on sale. There was one time when what I wanted was on sale, but not this time. Just a heads up, they won't accept American Discover cards. Overall, if you want to buy some candy or snacks before heading back to the cruise ship, then this place will do!

This here is a big superstore with gas station onsite. I bought water and filled up gas from this location. The entire store was quite clean and stocked up. The washrooms were in decent condition and they are located upstairs. The parking lot is huge. They lost a star because the cashier was very inpatient and was getting frustrated as my little nephew pull the credit card from the machine and we just had to re-do the payment. The frustration and anger could be seen in her face.

I've been here a few previous times and wasn't always so impressed, but it seems that the new school year has gotten this location on their toes and I'm happy to say I really like this place. Everything is clean and well organized, and even though it's tremendously busy, everything still seems to flow smoothly. They've also started opening all the cash registers at certain times over the weekend in order to avoid lengthy waits. I got in and out very quickly today even though the place was packed. They also have some great stuff on clearance and a nice (but expensive) natural products section.

This is the ultimate starving student, pinch all your pennies, yet don't sacrifice your health and well-being grocery store. - on tuesdays there's a 10% discount for students. Just remember to bring your student ID! - they have their flyer online, so you can look at specials ahead of time Most of the cheapness comes from buying their no-name brand, and lately the ugly yellow packaging has taken over my freezer. I just have to remind myself not to get sucked in by sales for things that I don't really need. Sure, that 5L bottle of vegetalbe oil is only $5. But can I really use that much oil in the next three months? I hope not.

they are monopolistic and by shopping here you are increasing the grip they have on what you buy and at what price.

It's way bigger, and better, than what Sobey's has to offer, and that makes me happy.

And even the most vulnerable people need groceries, so it seems reasonable to think that a grocery store might be more cautious about a public health emergency than some other businesses. Masks are not required in this store, and haven't been in months. Most people in the store don't wear masks, including some of the employees. Nothing is done anymore to enable people to keep some distance between themselves and others. What finally pushed me to write this review is that, when I went a few days ago, there were people fundraising for something at the exit. None of those people were wearing masks, and their positioning at the exit made it impossible to avoid them. Just terrible handling of an ongoing crisis.

They have increased their Halal food section lately, and have a pretty good selection of dairy-free and/or gluten-free things for the size of the store. You won't find everything you need here (the Superstore on Barrington is a bit better for that reason) but it's pretty decent. The prices definitely feel steeper than at Superstore though.

The first time I came in I was energized by all the hustling and bustling in this place. I was also surprised that it was smaller than I expected. Then I realized there were other parts of the building that weren't "store front". We usually come here to stock up on steaks, ribs or whatever meat they have on sale that week. If you're into raw food for your pooch they've got that covered too. Another thing I've noticed is their cashiers are very efficient, aka fast! Walmart and Superstore should send their cashiers here for training. If I really have to be picky, I'd have to say that this is not a place to bring your children. We can only come when one of us stays in the van with our young children. For one, their shopping carts are small. And secondly, this is a very busy place with limited floor space. Also the parking lot on the weekends is a zoo. But even with these "hindrances" we still manage to buy groceries here.
