I have had no luck in finding a apartment that i qualify for i just get the run around about maybe trying somewhere else . which tells me they don't want to rent to just anyone not complaining but for once i like someone to return my email or application request i am a senior who is disabled needing a down stairs apt i guess i'll just stay where i am at and no longer returning any property management emails. and so far what i heard about the carpets well i am sure i can do better else where. read more

Maintenance requests were resolved very quickly and appropriately besides pest control. When my neighbor moved, I began to see roaches in my unit. I submitted multiple requests for spraying, but the treatments were ineffective. I even purchased my own spray, which didn't help either. The manager mentioned she sees 1 or 2 in her own unit every now and then so I believe there might be an issue in each building. It was impossible to seal the water heater vents so its likely that the roaches are migrating between units. On another note, the apartment grounds stayed neat, quiet, and relatively safe. read more

Let me start off by saying this was my first apartment experience and I should have never moved in here. I lived here for over a year and had to deal with so many negatives. To start when I first moved in the carpet of my loft was disgusting. You could see they just had it steamed but not changed because the stains started coming up soon after walking on it. Big dark stains! Things in the apartment slowly started breaking or messing up. The circulation of the AC is horrid, it stays super hot in there and the AC was horribly loud! Almost like a water cooler. The blinds were those cheap blinds that fall apart as soon as you open them. The shower doors stopped sliding open! The toilet broke on me multiple times. I had to deal with neighbors fighting. One night there was two girls fist fighting on the lawn! I got to say that was extremely ghetto. The security was good for nothing because I had my recyclables trash can that was on my porch stolen! I woke up one morning and it was gone! The maintenance people are horrible, they would come and even mess with stuff I had on my porch! And one time when someone was on the roof doing who knows what, he was letting water drain over the sides of the roof and it went straight onto my porch where my plants were and other things I had there! To top it all off, the landlord Lori, was fine in the beginning, I was always super respectful and nice to her, but in the end she turned out to be a completely different person than what I originally thought. First off she was the most nosy person I've ever come in contact with. She was always starring and even bothering my company I would have come over asking them who they were here to see! I'm sorry, but if you pay rent you have the right to your own privacy and not have to deal with greeting the landlord all the time, that's not in the contract. She ended up terminating my tenancy for NO REASON AT ALL. I even called and asked her, there was zero reason, probably because I didn't kiss her you know what all the time. And she had ZERO heart about terminating my tenancy. Overall it was a really negative and creepy experience having to deal with all of that and her. It was a blessing in disguise to be out of there that's for sure I live in a normal peaceful place now. I was warned by someone else that lived there previously to not live there because of Lori, I should have listened. read more

I have lived here with my daughter since July of 2017. I lived in one of the lofts and I must say I really enjoyed my stay (I'm moving into my first home!). I'll start off by saying I definitely recommend renting here! The manager, Lorie, is so professional and helpful (and friendly which is a huge plus)! She explains everything you need to know and answers all of your questions. If you have a service request, she immediately writes it out and it is usually done within the week (sometimes even the same day!) When renting, it is a big deal to me how a manager cares for and handles their complex's needs. Lorie is definitely on top of it! The neighbors are quiet and respectful. The complex is always clean! They do landscaping every week. Plaza Del Real offers a laundry facility for its residents as well as a pool. What I loved most about it is that it is that I felt safe here. There are shopping centers and restaurants nearby (some of which are open 24 hours) which made it super convenient. The apartment itself was so cozy! Downstairs you have a living room and kitchen area. Upstairs you have your bathroom and bedroom area. A big bonus for me were the spacious, walk-in closets (one upstairs and one downstairs, too!) For being a loft, the kitchen area is pretty spacious. You also get a patio area which is great if you like to bbq or grill. I personally used mine to let my daughter play outside while I cooked since I could keep an eye on her through the sliding door. I move out later this month and it is a bittersweet feeling. I'm excited for my new home, but I'm sad to leave my loft. It is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a new place. If you want a safe and clean complex and a great experience, I suggest you come to Plaza Del Real! read more

I lived here for almost 11 years and I love the place a lot. It's very clean and quiet. It's also close to everything. Lorie is very helpful and and approachable. I had so many memories in this apartments. I can say that it's a good place to live. read more

Don't let the location overturn the fact that when it comes to tenants, all your requests and concerns will be addressed timely. The complex and laundry area is well kept by the manager herself every morning and done so with a smile. Of course it's not perfect, and these are just MY gripes. Maintenance guys rarely take pride in their work and it shows. The parking can be inconvenient due to there not being assigned parking. The parking lot in general isn't very spacious as far as the areas between vehicles. A few or the surrounding houses have loud animals, one of which makes a sound that I've yet to identify. And lastly, be prepared to have your apartment sprayed for bugs frequently. That being said, I STILL would recommend Plaza Del Real to anyone who's looking for a place because despite all those things I mentioned the complex manager Lori and her attention to your needs makes it all tolerable as most of the above issues are essentially out of her hands. Lofts are in a doable price range for singles, and conveniently has month to month leasing. read more

Safe and quite place to live. At night you can't hear any noise and they have a security patrol which is a plus. It's clean and well manicured. Pool and laundry facilities are clean and kept locked until you unlock them which I really like. Maintenance issues are fixed quickly and they are very professional when they approach your door. You are nearby shopping and freeways. Management is awesome. Lorie is professional and kind. She returns all calls and is always very helpful. She has a sincere smile when she sees you. The owner has done a great job with his management team. I'm very happy living here and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to call home.. read more

It's a great place to live at. Never any loud neighbors, it's really peaceful. It's just my husband and I we've been there for almost a year and so far it feels safe it's close to lots of food places if your into going out. Close to the freeway and mall! Everyone there keeps to themselves. Our landlady is great!!! Super friendly she is always there to answer any questions or if you have any concerns. It's clean around all the apartments and parking lot, there's a pool which also has a grill and tables, there's a washer and dryer room it's a tad bit small but it's within walking distance of all apartments. The only complaint is the parking spaces sometimes get really packed but most of the time it isn't a big deal but there's always spaces under the car parking roof. Overall definitely a place I would recommend to look into especially if your newly wed or wanting a nice peaceful location and rent is pretty good. read more

My length of stay at Plaza Del Real was about 2yrs, my family & I were pleased & enjoyed our time there. It's a small complex, so sooner or later you begin to recognize everyone that lives there. They do maintenance checks every several months, there is a neighborhood watch program, the pool is small but doesn't get used much & there's security that drives by during the night time. The laundry facility is coin operated, I never had an issue with having to wait for a machine to be available. If ever I needed to go back to renting an apt Plaza Del Real would be my first choice. One of the main reasons we first even looked at this place was due to its location, the proximity of everything we needed was close by. To top it off the on site Manager Lorie was such a pleasure to work with. Very friendly, kind & understanding, she always followed up with any maintenance requests. You won't see anyone rummaging through the garbage bins because Lorie will quickly run them out! There is no assigned parking but you shouldn't have trouble finding a spot. read more

I've lived here for a year...best place I've ever lived by far. The loft layout feels spacious, the manager is fantastic, and the maintenance is always fast and friendly. read more

I've lived here over a year now and don't plan on leaving soon. The landlord, maintenance, as well as residents are all friendly. The few times I've needed maintenance, they came within days and got the job done quick. The neighborhood is quiet and close to main streets/freeways. There's always covered parking spaces nearby. We have a little dog and he's welcome as this complex is pet friendly. read more

I've lived here for a little over a year and the landlord (Laurie) is so nice and helpful. We had a few problems with roaches when we moved in but after talking with her once she called an extermination crew and they came out a few days later and solved our infestation. Now the only time we have bugs is when we leave the door open and the little critters walk in but that's why we have a cat. The only real complaint I may have is some of the maintenance crew can be rude sometimes but for the most part they're always nice. Everyone has their bad days that's why this didn't affect my rating. Overall, great place to rent, live, and save money. I definitely recommend this place. read more

Wish I can give zero stars! Read my review on their direct website. Don't move it. Trust me, you'll thank me later. The closet and heater door did not work when we moved in but we did not check when we did the initial walk through and now the manager is charging us because she says it's our fault. Also, stains started coming out from underneath the carpet and we mentioned it to her and she tried blaming us. It wasn't us because we always walked barefoot and we never had food. Lorie, the manager, is so nosey! She is the worst manager and I've lived in quite a few apartments already. But she did us the favor by kicking us out because now we have a house. read more
