I came prepared with quarters and my credit cards but they only accept cash to pay for their own card that you can only use there and it costs $3 to get the card, then you can load $ to the card to pay to use the washers and dryers. I ended up adding too much for the dryers. They work really well and I didn't know that much $ but oh well. We ended up paying $25 for washing 5 loads and drying 5, they're big enough that we could fit 5 loads in 4 dryers. I'll try to plan better next time. The employees leave at 5:00 and they ask that the last load be added at 8:00 because their doors are automatically locked at 9:00.

I decided to try a new dry cleaner since they were super close to my house. I brought 8 of my…read morehusbands dress shirts. The woman was kind, and I was happy to have a super local cleaner. Well my husband started wearing the shirts and told me they smell moldy. I smelled them and sure enough, under the plastic, each newly cleaned shirt smelled moldy...yuck! He thinks maybe they put the plastic on while they were still slightly damp. That would do it! Today I stopped in to explain the situation. I figured they would re-clean them for me but I didn't even get a chance to ask. She told me "some people have homes that smell moldy, so that's why." I'm not sure if she even realized how rude that was. We don't have a moldy or smelly house. My husband has so many more dress shirts in the closet, none of which smell bad. He literally wore one fresh out of the cleaner's bag to work, and smelled the moldy smell all day. We've never had this happen at another dry cleaner's.
