We went in and the store was clean and organized and the shelves were stocked. Hope was rising. The store had all the normal departments and they looked good. We've been getting items for a travel trailer so went to Houseware's. The Houseware's department had some nice items that we haven't seen at other stores. Macy's now has mattresses and they are having a huge sale. Eddie was extremely helpful. He described the differences and benefits of each. It's nice working with someone is nice and who knows the products. I recommend Macy's for your shopping needs. It was very nice and I will definitely be back!

Ross is located in the Plaza at Imperial Valley shopping center with Best Buy, Bed, Bath & Beyond…read moreand Olive Garden. Friends said that this Ross had more selection so I decided to try it. It was very busy. This store had a good selection. It has all the same departments as any other Ross which makes easy shopping. I found a couple of shirts (that I wasn't looking for) and some body lotions. So, despite being very busy with long lines and tight aisles I found things and got out in decent time. They had a good number of cashiers open and they moved people though quick. I recommend this Ross.

They…read morecarry brands from other places like I've seen same brands as WalMart, Target, Sears/Kmart, Kohls, Lane Bryant, etc but at waaaay cheaper prices (yes, cheaper even than WalMart or Ross!) Seem to have more of the normal people brands (ie affordable one) like Deron, Baby Phat, Coogi, Sean Jon, Wrangler, Just My Size, etc. Also saw some Guess, Nine West, Kenneth Cole, Betsy Johnson in the purses. Libbey, Imusa, KitchenAid, Oster, Thermos, Black & Decker .... etc etc The managers are all really nice and the employees look like they actually like working there unlike the other stores around them where everyone looks miserable.

I could see in their eyes that they had a genuine desire to help me. I stopped in to buy myself a souvenir hat from El Centro, and to browse about to see if they had anything useful for my car. The hat selection was very limited. Mostly Ball caps, and those beanies closely resembling the Old Navy watch caps. They also had a bucket hat, but it's pastel color wasn't for me. i was hopping to find a golf hat. I ended up buying a ball cap with a US flag on it and a phone holder that attaches to the mirror. This will be useful for times when I use my phone as a GPS or watching movies when parked. The gal at the checkout spoke English and checked me out quickly and accurately. I don't think she cared about me coming to Ross to buy a souvenir hat. Which I felt was a dollar more than I anticipated. The did have a better selection of men's ballcaps than Walmart had. And a far better deal on the phone holder. I probably would have shopped around a bit longer but I started getting hungry. When a i couldn't find white Fruit of the Loom briefs. I decided not to seek help with the staff since twice before I was unsuccessful at getting the help I needed, so I decided to go to Del Taco for lunch. Then the security started pulling people from…read morebehind me speaking to them in Spanish and telling them that they could use self check out on the other side and then when I kept saying, excuse me, excuse me in English, asking if we could pay over there since he was pulling people from behind me to go to self check out he didn't answer and then another employee told me. Yes you can pay over there I paid and then as I was leaving the security guard wanted to speak to me in English and asked me for my receipt and then dug in my bag to look at the items and pull one out. never in my life have I ever experienced this. Come on El Central Ross you need to do better.

This is a solid Target. We stop here whenever we are staying in Brawley, Imperial, or El Centro…read more It is the only Target nearby and has a steady customer base. Since Covid they also have a strong pick-up area and even have shaded parking in the parking lot just for their pick-up service, where employees fill mobile orders from customers and deliver them to their vehicles. This Target is loaded with great deals, and we never have trouble finding what we are looking for. The employees are friendly and they check you out quickly, unless you only have a few items and use the self-checkout. Definitely worth stopping in when you're in the area. There's also a Starbucks inside the store, so you don't have to wait in line at the new Starbucks out in the far corner of the parking lot.
