Store was organized and the cashier was super nice and friendly. I may come back if I decide to take a road trip. Definitely worth coming here. They…read morecarry brands from other places like I've seen same brands as WalMart, Target, Sears/Kmart, Kohls, Lane Bryant, etc but at waaaay cheaper prices (yes, cheaper even than WalMart or Ross!) Seem to have more of the normal people brands (ie affordable one) like Deron, Baby Phat, Coogi, Sean Jon, Wrangler, Just My Size, etc. Also saw some Guess, Nine West, Kenneth Cole, Betsy Johnson in the purses. Libbey, Imusa, KitchenAid, Oster, Thermos, Black & Decker .... etc etc The managers are all really nice and the employees look like they actually like working there unlike the other stores around them where everyone looks miserable.

They had some great prices on food and cleaning products. I found things we buy for very low prices. I would have to check the per unit price though as many were small or odd sizes. I am really trying to eliminate plastic in my life so walking down the aisles filled with plastic made me a bit ill. That stuff will be here on the planet for ages. The next generation is left with our trash. I guess I'd rather wait to get something that has a bit more quality. Maybe I'm just old school. I would have to check more before I recommend this store but I doubt if I would go back to check. We seem to be selling out to the lowest bidder to have lots of things we really don't need. I decided to pop into the local Grocery Outlet and have a looksie at what was on sale. Each one is locally owned so they tend to have different items. It makes it fun to go in and see what weird or interesting stuff you might find. Sometimes there are insane deals. Like 5 bags of snack cheese for $1! Yes I said it! Snack cheese for on the go yummy 5 bags for $1!!!! This GO is one of the better ones I've been to in terms of cleanliness and being orderly. They also had friendly staff which is a new thing for me. I can't get mad at my local GO's staff for being a bit rough, they have to throw out homeless people and drug addicts every single day. Anyway, the staff here were very nice and greeted me. They even asked if I liked the store and if it was my first time in it. They seemed to actually care! I wish I could have had more of that frozen food aisle but because I am working it was a no go. I did pick up a lot of Bang energy drinks for 99! Yay! At my local GO they were $1.99 so what a win! One of the flavors is "purple kiddles " which is cryptic and nonsensical to me...so I know I'm in for a treat! The beer selection didn't get my motor running but they had a sizable wine assortment. They also had the hard stuff but I didn't take the time for all that. My heart belongs to my Whistle Pig at the moment so... the heart wants what it wants! In all a fun way to spend a little time... that is if you're into deals and hunting around. Also if you're into weird products... just don't wait around... snap up what you want because like most things, it won't be waiting around forever! Personally, I like to leave my phone in the car and just take some me time without everyone calling me to just enjoy the inexpensive experience. Smart & Final is like a grocery store with warehouse quantity & prices! This store store has more fresh produce & better looking, more groceries and the both regular & large size products so I don't always have to go to a club store. The meats also looked better. Smart & Final also carries things like restaurant supply, foodservice, packaging and janitorial products. I used to get the butcher block paper for student use-it's cheap & works well. It's great if you need supplies for a school or job site. I am much more impressed with this Smart & Final than the former store. I recommend it & will definitely be back!
