My kids feel so comfortable coming here. And it's so nice as a mom being in an office where they cater to your kids. Great hygienists

I have been a patient of Dr. Wong's for about 20 years and have noticed a general change in patient…read morecare since becoming affiliated with 123Dentist.com. I recently contacted this office for a nightguard replacement that lasted about six months before breaking. The lab agreed to replace it using the existing scans even though it was just out of warranty, but I was not given a time estimate for the replacement. Two and a half weeks later, I contacted the office and was told it would take another week. Two days later, I was in the office for a CT scan in preparation for implant surgery and was given the nightguard that was supposed to take another week. Four days later, I received a message from the office telling me my nightguard was ready for pickup. In subsequent conversations with the office, I have been told that they did not speak to the dentist and did not know I had picked up my nightguard, that the new nightguard was actually a repair of pieces of the old one (which is impossible because I still have it and was told not to return it), and that they don't know whether I was given someone else's nightguard or whether the lab made two. In addition to the above, when the hygienist was doing the CT scan mentioned above, my hair got caught in the machine, and it was pulling so hard that it was very painful. I told the hygienist to stop the machine, and she responded that she could not - once it starts, they cannot turn it off. In my searches online since that visit, I have learned that every dental CT scanner has an emergency shutoff and is required by law for patient safety and to guard against radiation leaks. The only possible explanation is that the hygienist did not know how to operate that function on the machine. I was charged $200 for the scan and had to make two phone calls requesting a copy before being told that a CD had been burned and I could pick it up. After this office visit, I received an email and a text message asking me for my feedback, and I sent the above information in response. To date, I am still waiting for a reply. In my conversation with the office, I received explanations, including "Our corporate office looks at those once a week," "My manager has been away," and variations on that theme. Given the slow response to patient concerns and the speed at which I was asked to pay for the painful CT scan, I feel more like a paycheck than a patient.

Look at this very disrespectful Facebook message I received from your staff today. A customer…read moreshould never be spoken to in such a disrespectful tone, especially when I did not do anything wrong or made any rude comment or treat someone badly. I just made a simple inquiry with a receptionist last Friday evening and I felt she was not able to help me. So I asked to speak with a manager or owner on Friday evening via Facebook. Nobody contacted me until 11.49am today when your regional manager called me and answered my query and the issue was resolved. Everything is supposed to be fine after that! Then what is the purpose of your staff sending me this message in Facebook at 3.58PM later today: " Stann... I told you I was on holiay until the 24th. No other manager or owner is going to call you. If you need an appointment call the office. If you need to sell me something, don't count on it, you've already annoyed me." I cannot believe you will speak to a client in this tone? First of all, you never told me you will be on holiday until Feb 24th? I think you misunderstood me for someone else. And your regional manager already called me today at 11.49AM and spoke to me and the issue is already resolved. So what is the purpose of you sending this disrespectful message to a client and insulting me by saying "you've already annoyed me". I am in total disbelief! Great service, Clayton Dental Center!

I was recommended to Clayton Dental Centre and they were able to see me the same day! From the minute, I walked in.... work being done today and setting up my next appointment - 10/10 in the client care department. They explained everything from what x-rays were being taken, and what future work will take place to solve my problem. One of the reasons for the long delay between dental visits......a fear of being hurt and having pain with an past experience (out of town, many years ago). I was so relaxed this afternoon and so glad I saw Dr. Mangat and Staff today.

!! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE !!…read more I had an extremely distressing experience at Guildford Town Centre Dental during a recent tooth extraction. Despite my repeated expressions of pain, Dr. Fatemeh Mortazavi Alavi proceeded with the extraction without providing adequate anesthesia. This led to intense pain and a severe panic attack that lasted for over two hours, which the staff was ill-equipped to handle. Instead of providing real support, they repeatedly told me to "relax" and "calm down," which only intensified my anxiety. I was eventually transferred to the hospital, but the lack of urgency from the clinic only worsened my condition. Additionally, I developed infections at the extraction sites and had to seek care elsewhere. The lack of proper care and attention during such a serious procedure was deeply alarming. I was left feeling traumatized and have completely lost trust in this clinic. Despite multiple emails and a phone call with the clinic's senior manager, I still have not received a proper apology or resolution. This experience has left me emotionally distressed and deeply affected both myself and my partner, who witnessed the ordeal. Based on the negligence and lack of accountability I experienced, I strongly advise others to avoid this place, especially for any tooth extraction procedures. If I could give this clinic less than 1 star, I would.

After performing work on the left side, which is what I was booked in for, I was informed that the estimate I had been given for this appointment was for the RIGHT side. Nowhere on the estimate did it say it was for the right side, and I don't know why it made sense in their minds to give me an estimate that was not for the work that I was being booked in for. I expect that the estimate that I am given, is an estimate for the work that is about to be performed. I was slapped with a bill of $1,068 and 3 ladies at the front were gaslighting me. I will NEVER be coming back to this place ever again. Book at your own risk and ask a TON of questions so you aren't purposely mislead like I was.

We brought in our 5 year-old son for a consultation to fix his 8 cavities (yes, we're not good…read morebrushers/flossers) after his general dentist said that he's not experienced enough with young kids. We brought in X-rays, and Dr. Chander maybe spent a minute with us telling what he would do - fix all either with laughing gas or send us to another specialist to fix all at one time under general anesthetic and then he left. We then spent the next 10 minutes talking to the manager about payment options. When I questioned why we couldn't ask for a treatment plan without laughing gas or general anesthetic, the answer I got was, "well, the doctor probably thought he's uncooperative". Since we were uncomfortable with the treatment plan offered, we consulted yet another dentist, and there, the dentist spent 10-15 minutes during the consultation meeting check each tooth over and also testing our son's patience in the chair, needless to say, we went to this dentist to fix his teeth. I have no problems with dental practices needing to make money (especially if they have a fancy waiting room and staff that don't hate you when you walk in). I can also rationalize exceptionally good dentists charging above what is recommended by the provincial dental pay scale (they also will demand the difference between what your insurance pays and what they charge even for a consultation), but what I have a problem with is when a PEDIATRIC dental practice has no desire to determine a child's comfort level in the chair BEFORE recommending a treatment plan. Our son has seen quite a few doctors and specialists and has had a few exams with various machines, and the conclusion after all these exams is how calm he is - in fact, where he got his teeth fixed, he was even used as the example by the parent of a screaming child of how to behave at a dentist's office. Boy, this has turned into a very long review, but we saw the positive reviews from other patients and thought we might be able to get the same - a meaningful consultation with a pediatric dental specialist that would know how to deal with children without having to resort to rendering them dazed and confused. We didn't get that, and in fact, the only thing we did get was a bad taste in our mouths.
