A full service pottery shop, customers have the option to paint ready-made pottery, use a pottery wheel to craft a piece from scratch, or really get hands-on and use your hands to mold your own beautiful work of art. At the Yelp New Jersey Elite event, the hand building class was quite an experience where the friendly owners and staff showed us how to take a ball of clay and using pinch pot form, style it into a bowl. Once the bowl shape took form, we embellished the clay with molds to add design elements. I loved the paw print mold! The staff was very helpful to assist and made sure the art was sturdy and ready for the oven. We got to pick what color we wanted and the staff will paint it later. Pieces are usually ready 3-4 weeks after your visit, so it is a great reason to come back to the area to pick up the finished art. I loved to learn the location is dog friendly, as long as your dog is well-behaved. Since the experience requires full attention and is hands-on, being in control of your pup is extra important. There was a doggie guest there during my visit and was a perfect pup. Blue Skies Pottery also hosts events and collaborates with local businesses including hosting a paw print ornament workshop with the pet store next door. Amazing art classes in particular Oil painting with Scott Nickerson, who is exceptionally talented and gifted. He is an inspiring teacher. I have been fortunate to be in several of Scott's classes. Classes are kept on the smaller side so you get personalized attention. Spots fill almost immediately when posted so don't delay act fast if you want to join in. You need to buy your own supplies which a list will be provided to you when you enroll. They also have a custom framing department that has provided to be useful after you complete your masterpiece. Classes are available for every level so don't be intimidated as everyone in my experience is so kind and supportive. Wear old clothes and let your artistic side come alive!

We were showing my brother the drawing and he said we had to go to Primo Glass! We called Anthony of Primo Glass and went to the shop. First of all, We have to tell you.. the pictures on line do not do the work Primo Glass does justice. The glass lights were so beautiful, with such vibrant colors and unique textures. They were simply beautiful. We showed Anthony our "drawing" and amazingly, he said he could make it!! Anthony worked with us to figure out an affordable way to make our dream a reality, which is a testament to the type of person he is! We went to work deciding on the shape of the lights, the colors and size of our chandelier. Anthony guided us through the process with ease and provided valuable advice. Because we were so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship, we decided to pick out lights for our kitchen too! Throughout the construction process Anthony kept in touch with us, sending us updates with pictures. On the day the Chandelier and lights arrived, Sal and I were at work. Anthony and his team installed everything in one day and by the time we get home they were in. When we first saw our chandelier it took our breath away, it was exactly what we imagined. The colors, the lights, and the copper tubing were a beautiful work of art. We look at it every day and still are amazed at its beauty! Our kitchen lights were also beautiful, classic and unique.
