I walked in last minute and in between errands.... To get some birthday balloons. I was fairly specific how I wanted them layered and they were bagged so I could easily transport the balloons. I left, came back and they were ready to go! The balloons were reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Set them up at home and it was exactly what I wanted. No fuss and ready to display. I would definitely order from them again. Thank you! read more

Party Fair - Nice simple setup and the perfect backdrop for an amazing birthday!!! - Party Supplies Near Me - Freehold, New Jersey

Great place always well stocked, employees are always willing to help and they are knowledgeable with their product products

I came to party fair today for engagement balloons and decorations. The woman that helped with the balloons really took the time to help me get my balloon bouquets just right. The cashier was so friendly and engaging. I have frequented their store for party supplies for many years and will continue to do so in the future!! read more

We came here to pick up some last minute supplies for a surprise birthday. There wasn't much available, and what they did have looked to be over priced. The cashier was really slow and no one seemed to want to open a second register to take care of the ever growing line of restless customers. It's a good thing we were from out of town since we don't ever have to go back. read more

Party Fair - Party Supplies Near Me - Freehold, New Jersey

You will find everything you need for your party here all in one place including balloons... but you're going to pay! It's a very big store packed with party supplies! Actually it's pretty impressive to have a store of this size just dedicated to parties. Really you can find anything here. I went here to get party supplies for my father who turned 90 years old. I actually had a choice of different plates and napkins with the number 90 on it. Obviously I would not find these specific items anywhere else. Another thing is they have party balloons here, and they do them on the spot! No need to call ahead and reserve. In fact you can pick out the exact balloons you want. Just can't beat this, very convenient. Any party you can think of you can find supplies here for, including Mardi Gras's, princess party anything. My issue with this store is the prices. Yes I certainly expect to pay a premium for this convenience. I also know that you can find what you need here. Really the store should have 4 stars due to a high premium price. But honestly some prices here are outrageous, forcing me to lower them 2 stars. For example if you want a certain color drinking cup, let's say red to match your party supplies, the price here is way higher than at a grocery or club store. They really mark up the napkins, plates and cups much higher than necessary. Of course this place is recommended if you are throwing a party and you want to get everything at one place and have the best selection and best success in finding what you need. read more

the rudest people I have been going to them since they opened in at least once a week i ordered balloons for my sons bday he is in heaven i went from there to the Cemetery noticed o r bag was missing called then 3 different people argued with me including the one that said they are the manager fighting with me that I took them and I must have let them blow away last time I'll be a customer. the one who delivers the balloons is a bully yeah you know who I'm talking about. I wasn't looking for anything free I just wanted my son in heaven to have his balloons thank you I wouldn't even give the 1 star had no choice. read more

The service at this store is horrendous! People are rude and act as though they are doing you a favor and the prices aren't great . Unfortunately the location is convenient. The woman who may be the owner or manger is extremely obnoxious and seems like she hates people who are different than her . read more

They are all rude and have zero customer service skills. They charged me for balloon and I explained I needed it to be table height. After I already made my transaction she told me to pick a weight. So I did and she said okay I will write the slip, I said no, no I paid! Because I thought it was included in what I had already purchased. The girl behind the counter asked the manager about it and she said it was extra. I said but I explained what I needed why did nobody ask me while I was paying because I did not want to charge $2.00 for this. After excusing her team for being young, I asked well are you the manager? She said yes, I said that is no way to run your business. She just kept saying, what, excuse me? I walked out with a very large balloon for my daughters gift table that needed to be taped because they do not know how to communicate. I was already warned to not go into this store. read more

Don't go there. Ripoff. $7 to inflate one 40" number balloon. Ended paying $18 for 2 numbers. It was for my daughter's birthday. Never again. Very unfriendly. Old and outdated...staff and place. read more

Merchandise is overpriced and customer service was poor. Bought different items, including multiple bags of latex balloons. Asked for one bag for the balloons for when they are blown up. Charged me for the one plastic bag with out even telling me! Extremely disappointed. read more

This is the worst place I've ever given business to. I bought a 15 dollar balloon that was supposed to sing and didn't ever work. The manager said she'd replace the balloon when the party was already over. I asked for a refund, not even for the whole purchase just for the broken balloon. She blamed me and was rude and condescending and a total tyrant. Said it was working when I left the store when it wasn't. DO NOT GO HERE. I've never written a bad Yelp review but this experience pushed me. Will be posting on google too. DON'T use them unless you want to be treated terribly. Go somewhere else! You'll regret it. read more

I had the worst experience there today!!!! I arrived 5 minutes after the ballon counter was closed. I was told that I could not order balloons, meanwhile there were 6 employees just standing around and doing NOTHING!!!! The manager was a complete B. she turned the lights out in the aisle I was in, as I was shopping. I always go there for my party needs, but never again! BTW as I was leaving another lady came in just for balloons and was turned away. In one day they lost two orders. I guess that's the difference between owning the store and just being a manager. read more

The people that work here are extremely rude. They should not be in the customer service industry. The elderly woman with the bowl cut haircut should not be running this place. She has no manners and is incredibly rude alongside her young high school staff. They need to be under new management and hire decent people. read more

I made an order for a banner for a holiday party. A proof was sent over to approve the order, which I responded promptly to make sure Adam would have the banner ready in time. The order was placed 5 days ahead of the party. On Sunday, when I went to pick up the banner I was appalled to find out that there was no banner. The woman working there handled the situation very rudely and claimed that I had not approved the banner in time for it to be printed. They were unable to refund me that day. I returned a few days later to receive my refund and I got my money back but the lady refused to apologize for their mistake. I will not be returning to this Party Fair. read more

Worst service I've had in quite a while, they lied straight in my face and sold me an incomplete costume. I'll never go to this store again, even if I need to drive for extra 20 minutes. read more

SLOW SLOW SLOW! Eat your breakfast, bring a book and a pillow to take a nap while you wait. Completely unorganized and NO sense of urgency! You get balloons for an event you have THAT DAY, we cannot spend an hour + on line waiting for them! Be considerate of your customers time frame! read more

Worst party store ever the staff extremely rude so expensive for party stuff you can find the same stuff in different stores for cheaper price plus better treatment please don't go there read more

Great place for party needs ! Only negative is the dismissive, arrogant red-headed, middle-aged owner or sales manager who runs the front....Store would be much improved if she lost the attitude and actually lost the mono-syllabic, rude responses she gives to customers. Maybe this is just an area thing, but unpleasant to deal with. read more

This store has the worst customer service. Not only is the store old and outdated, but it is also extremely overpriced. Worst of all though, is the rude and unprofessional customer service. Do not go here. You can find cheaper prices on the same items on amazon, target, oriental trading, and many other places. Management is terrible. read more

This is our go to place for cards for any occasion. A lot cheaper than any Hallmark store. A huge selection of party good and seasonal holiday decorations and supplies. If you order balloons here, be prepared to have to get the attention of one of the girls that work here. You will stand at the counter to get your order and it will be 20 minutes before one of them decides to ask if you need any help!! read more

We will have NO balloons for my nieces party tomorrow because the manager threw her "new girl" under the bus! New girl promised balloons at 10am tomorrow, party starts at 11am! We just got a call saying they couldn't be ready until 11am at which point they suggested a pricier option that could be ready tonight. Manger was totally indifferent and said all she could do was refund. Pretty sure she's berating the poor newbie for her error! Will NEVER set foot in there again! read more

Staff is rude beyond compare. This morning I simply called for a "welcome home" sign and the staff was so unbearable that I hung up. Absolutely no regard or common human decency- even over the phone!! PLUS I called at 9:45, a mere 15 minutes after they opened. How do you ALREADY have a bad mood and a nasty attitude? This is not the first time the women have been horrible, but I expected more in the morning. They are lucky that there are not too many other party fairs in the area and people are compelled to come here out or convenience. Trust me, if you have a choice, DO NOT come here. read more

rudest people i've ever seen. the lady i'm pretty sure her name is Diane is so rude and has zero customer service what so ever. my sister was going to pick up balloons and misheard the lady and the lady yelled at her for literally no reason. this place is horrible and very expensive, you're better off going to a party city. read more

The owner is nasty! My disabled son was trying to blow up a balloon that we were not purchasing so she snatched it and threw it in the trash. She told the girl taking my balloon order to charge me for the balloon. When I told her I would like the balloon added to my order if they are charging me she laughed, picked it up out of the trash and threw it in my pile. HORRIBLE customer service . I will never order from Party Fair again. read more

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On thursday 7/24 I dropped off a box to be used for a gender reveal party on Sat 7/26 at the Freehold location. I had my doctor circle the color of the balloons I needed based on the sex (purple or blue) and seal it in an envelope. I explained what needed to be done to the girls at the balloon counter, which they replied that they have done this so many times. I picked up the box on Sat, still not knowing the gender. I opened the box in front of 60 of my friends and family and my very expensive catered party. Blue balloons came out. We were so excited. Later that night I checked the paper (because they gave it back to me, but I did not look as I wanted to be surprised) AND PURPLE WAS CLEARLY CIRCLED. NOt only was it circled, the technician also wrote 'congrats' and put a smiley face NEXT TO THE PURPLE. THE BALLOONS WERE WRONG. My entire party, my entire excitement, my entire emotions were completely ruined because of the error made by one of your employees. I am disgusted, angered and appalled that this happened. It was a simple direction, very clearly laid out and I was assured they knew what to do. THis is my first child and i wanted to do something special and now all my pictures and videos are of BLUE balloons and not purple. I went to the store and they refunded my money and gave me purple balloons. HOwever this does not even come close to making up for the error that was made. I will never ever use one of your stores again. I am in absolute shock and your company completely ruined the excitement of my little girl. I understand the real focus is on my healthy baby but something so easy was just ruined. read more
