If someone I know wanted to book this place, what I would want them to factually know is this:…read more We made a specific request ahead of time for a rock and roll-style Happy Birthday song and asked if the performer could lean into a glam/rock look. We were told they would do their best to accommodate that request, and they did not. The performer arrived approximately 20 minutes late, and I had to call to find out where he was. No attempt on their part was made to let us know he'd be late. When he arrived, he appeared disheveled and not prepared for the performance. He told us that he "had to learn the songs on the way over." As he began to sing the first song, he struggled with the beat and the words. He did not know the actual lyrics and improvised poorly. The songs he attempted were not what we requested. One was AC/DC, which my son does not like, and another song (Sweet Child of Mine) was also not requested. The rock and roll Happy Birthday song we specifically asked for was performed last and without the guitar. Their website prompts you to, "choose 1 or 2 songs" and we chose the one happy birthday rock and roll song. After the performance, he was looking around for his guitar strap even though it was attached to his guitar, which added to the overall impression that he was disoriented. I contacted the company by phone to address these concerns. The person I spoke with said he would send a text to the owner and included me in the message, stating, "Thank you, we'll keep you updated." They did not follow up. I had to reach out again, and at that point they declined to help, stating, "I watched the video and he did a good job delivering our standard singing telegram. Your son loved it." It was also explained that the performer's appearance and level of presentation depend on the individual performer. The promotional photos on the website show a performer who is styled and fully in character, but that was not consistent with what we experienced. For context, my son is polite and would not show disappointment in a situation like this. He did express appreciation, saying "it's the thought that counts," and made the best of it as to not make me feel any worse than I already did. He was also surprised that I would have chosen AC/DC knowing he does not like that band. Overall, the service did not match what is advertised or what we were told would be accommodated. Their customer service was disappointing. They could not see my side at all. I paid 200$ and gave a 25$ tip (and had an extra 20$ cash in my pocket I was ready to give the performer expecting that the website's depiction is what you get). I would have preferred to leave a positive review. Instead, I was left feeling that the experience did not meet expectations and that my concerns were not taken seriously.

Was able to request the day before the event. Instructions and reservation form were clear and straightforward. I was a little concerned it wasn't going to happen as I didn't receive a text from the telegram until about an hour before. I was concerned maybe it wasn't available in my city (Buffalo, NY) but I got a musician from a local band! Once I got that text, communication was great and the guest of honor was surprised and enjoyed it! He brought a balloon and candy bar for the birthday girl. He sang the songs I requested. It was a little pricy ($199 plus tax) for a quick visit, but worth it if you want something different and fun!
