There is not a better card shop and gift store in the area. Exceptional gifts, great service and reasonable prices. The BEST!

A great stop if you need to bring a host/hostess gift for a shore weekend-you never want to arrive…read moreempty handed! Not overly 'coastal' but certainly there is a beachy vibe. Fun spot to browse on a rainy day too.

This extremely fun and eclectic owner welcomed me to the store from behind the counter. She has a…read morevibrant personality that is so wonderful, you just enjoy talking with her. The store is a craft and clothing boutique. It's much more than that. Everything there is a one-of-a-kind unique item that local crafters have created. I loved browsing through the entire store and there were so many hidden gems. I was originally trying to find something for my friends twin daughters. I got a little bit overwhelmed with all the cute things that they have. I must say I want to buying a pair of airings for myself. I had to say to bring my girlfriend over and just ask her very point-blank "what adorable items do you want for your twins because they're all just too cute." You are not allowed to take pictures in the store. The reason is simple, all the items are one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts. She had a bad experience with one time she was at a tradeshow and somebody took pictures of her items. The next thing she knew she was browsing in a high-end catalog for jewelry and she found her pieces replicated. That is devastating to a crafter who takes pride in their products and did not get a single penny for it. I can respect that. She still has awesome things. Will definitely go back.

Makes me very sad writing this as I have been going to sunshine daydream since high school and…read morebefore they changed locations and opened their new store(s). My mom and grandma would bring me here when I was little when they first opened back in 2005. The prices have skyrocketed and I fear they have steered away from the "local business" culture and prices. Now it feels like I'm shopping at an expensive department store. The prices are not reflective of the quality. The jewelry isn't as good as it used to be as the $14-$16 sterling silver earrings begin to tarnish after a month of wear. Many of my pieces I own have become stretched out and pilled after only a few wears (even with gentle washing/cleaning). Some of the pieces being the EXACT SAME BRANDS that are sold at Island Gypsy in Lavalette but being more affordable there. Today I went for the first time in a long time as I had a gift card and wanted to give them another shot as I so badly want to love sunshine again. But when I went to pay the girls said there wasn't enough money on my unused gift card saying there was only $13 of the $25...do not think it was malicious or intentional but I think there was a mix up due to them reusing gift cards. If you're charging this much for your products, why can't you afford to buy new gift cards or have a better system? The girls kind of just looked at me and shrugged like "sorry". After today, it makes me so sad as a local of point pleasant boro that a store I once loved for the quality and price has now become a hub specifically geared towards wealthy tourists.

She and her staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. She basically designed the cards from start to finish providing helpful advice through the whole process. The end result was first class and my team and I were both impressed and pleased and we received compliments from several of our clients as well! During a follow up visit I took the opportunity to do a little Christmas shopping and was surprised at the wide variety of gifts and accessories available. I completed a fair share of my holiday shopping needs with the assistance of the very friendly and helpful staff! They even provided complimentary gift wrapping which was an added bonus. I will definitely continue to visit and work with The Papery for both my business and personal needs and would definitely recommend them. Thank you!

Do not use these people, they are a joke. Same for the Princeton location…read more A 15yr old with an ink jet printer could have done a better job at a 20th of the price. It is also clear to me they have never actually sent a letter themselves, they had no idea you cant use the space where the stamp goes, they tried to convince us that having envelope text at the very top or very bottom was normal, it isn't. After we received our prints, which were all-around amatuer, we demanded they redo them correctly. They offered to re-print from the Princeton location. The re-prints were even worse, cartoonishly large text covering corner to corner of the envelope. It was so bad that we had to send out the originals, which was completely embarassing. An unsusual percentage of our invites got lossed in the mail, Id say around 20%. I blame the papery for this, not the postal service. My conclusion is that this isn't a real business. A business wants to do a good job and retain repeat. A hobby business is one that thinks they can prey on big purse strings and do a amatuer job with no consequences. They might win a few paydays, but will never be profitable. We didn't even have high tastes for this, we just wanted something normal. They were not able to produce a normal invitation and addressed envelope, even when redoing their work. The work they produced was completely unacceptable.
