Amy's Hallmark is no longer. This is a Norman's Hallmark now. We found them very rude and insensitive when we asked to use their bathroom. They made my sister go next door even after we explained she just had bladder cancer surgery. Her compassion was oh my mother just had that too. Do you think she would have directed her mother to go next door? If that was not rude enough she asked me for a penny....I thought we were rounding now? Absurd! read more

Beautifully laid out store with super friendly staff. You can always find the card you're looking for whether it's an expensive Hallmark card or a less expensive alternative - they have it all. Plus being in a strip mall you can park and go right into the store - convenient, easy access. I want to make a point about the friendly staff. They always have more than one person working in this small store that will help you find anything. When you're ready to check out you usually don't even need to wait in a line. They have a lot more than just greeting cards here. They have all kinds of gifts and knickknacks. They also have wrapping paper, candles, frames and more. And as I said if you don't see what you're looking for, let the staff know and they will find it for you. Parking is usually not an issue but it can be during peak hours or holiday seasons. Mainly due to the other stores in this strip mall. The strip mall parking lot wasn't really designed in the best way. It's pretty tight and you have to be alert. But this nice little Hallmark store is highly recommended. read more

In the past I knew this particular Hallmark as Amy's Hallmark -- now I have it known as Norman's Hallmark. That's what's on the building and on the receipt. I have a Hallmark shop much closer to me than Norman's, not to mention a few other places that carry Hallmark Cards. I'll gladly go the greater distance to this Norman's Hallmark at Raintree Town Center in Freehold. I've found cards there -- both Hallmark and other related names -- that I couldn't find anywhere else. The gift and decoration items they carry are head and shoulders above other Hallmarks. I'm always treated with courtesy, and the attitude is friendly. I see a lot of Hallmark shops called "Norman's" -- don't know about those or if they're related, but I can tell you that the one I go to is tops. read more

I came in to get a couple of cards because I had coupons. I spent about 30 minutes looking for the perfect Birthday card, Easter card, and Mother's Day card. I was going to purchase a puzzle and some pj pants for my daughter. I went up to the register and presented my coupons to the cashier and she said they were already used. Nothing could be done even when we called the manager over. I had my transaction rung up by the manager who was less than empathetic, I told her I was going to purchase the cards and then when my next coupons where available 6 days later come back return and then buy my cards again with the coupons. She said I could not do that and rung up my card purchase. I then proceeded to tell her she did not put my crown rewards number in and she got very annoyed, told me to shut up so she could help me. What kind of customer service is this? I always shop at this Hallmark and everyone is usually friendly and nice. Not Monica!! And to tell a customer to shut up when I was just pointing out that she did not ring my purchase under my rewards number and wanted her to re-ring it under my rewards number. Also, I understand I could not use my coupons because they said they were already used, but to tell me I could not come back return and rebuy within 6 days of purchase with new coupons is incorrect! Great store to buy gifts or decorate your home. Huge selection of cards for any occasion. The staff is friendly as well.

So, I go through the door and I go WOW. The staff is so friendly, so smiley, so helpful! True costumer service. The ladies greeted me with a smile, helped me find a perfect birthday card and made sure the line to pay was quick. When everything is going soooo great and I'm soooo impressed with their attitude, the lady at the counter goes: "We are doing a survey about our services and if we were able to wow you today, please call this number....". Argh! I got so disappointed and so heartbroken. It was all fake! I'll still give them a 4 star review because they really helped me. read more

This is my local Hallmark store. It is a huge store that sells everything you could imagine a Hallmark store might have. I'm not really a big fan of Hallmark cards. The cards are usually lame with the same old corny greetings in them. They are also waaaaaaaay overpriced!! As for everything else, the gift items are pretty cool. On those occasions when you don't know what to get, odds are you can find something related to the occasion here. The parking lot is a little tight and you will be competing for a spot with Starbucks and Gamestop. At Christmas time, finding a spot and not having someone hit your car can be quite a challenge!! read more

This is a nice little Hallmark in Freehold. They have a decent size store and a good selection of cards and other knick knacks that you could be looking for. It's pretty much my go to when I'm going to pick up a card for a holiday or event. The staff here is very nice as well. I haven't been to many card stores where the staff offers to help find the right card. I like going here because the selection is larger than what you can find say in the Wal-Mart of Target card sections, since it's a dedicated gift shop. Pricing is no more than what you would pay anywhere else and they even have super cheap cards if you are looking to just add something to a gift or need something simple. Note that the parking lot is usually cramped from the attached Gamestop and Starbucks as well. read more

The workers are horrible. I was waiting on line for 10 minutes and there was a lady behind me got to register first. Not only that while i was on line 3 workers ignored me and continued with their usual conversation. I am furious that still this day there is a discrimination ESPECIALLY IN HALLMARK, FREEHOLD MALL I'd consider talk to your workers or something to improve the attitude or you will lose customers read more

Very large selection of cards and other interesting items. They have a lot of Christmas ornaments and other holiday items. They also offer a great selection of candles which my wife enjoys. The staff is always friendly and helpful and they are very conscience of not making customers wait in line even when it is busy. One drawback is the parking lot which is always crowded but that isn't their fault. Plus its a good sign that they are always busy! read more

Very bizarre experience today. Tried to purchase two boxes of Hallmark Christmas cards today at the posted 50% off but was told this particular card was not on sale. Arriving home, went on the Hallmark website and purchased the very same cards at the 50% off price. And guess what! Hallmark will ship them TO THIS STORE for free, and I will make a second trip to the store to pick them up. Called the store manager and received neither empathy nor apology. All she was empowered to do was place the blame on Hallmark. Both Hallmark and Amy's Hallmark Shop really fumbled the ball on this one. read more
