I wanted to specifically see the Matt and Ben show and saw on a poster that it was being performed at ArtsWest, a venue I had never been to before. But what a treasure this was! Located in the Junction neighborhood in West Seattle, it's on the main drag where many of the businesses are, so street parking is your jam here. We came to see a show here on a Sunday afternoon and were told that when we came 15 minutes early, we could hang out or just show up right when the show is to start. It's nice to know that you don't have to be here early like at most places. It's not a huge space for performing arts, as it's on the smaller size. But that really just adds to its charm. I imagine that many people who visit here are frequent flyers, making this place much more of a gem. They do have a refreshments area right when you enter the building, where they serve alcohol, snacks and coffee and tea. The play was a lot of fun, lots of laughs from the crowd and even the actors, and since it's an intimate space, even if you sit furthest away from the stage, you'll easily be able to see the performance. I'd recommend getting tickets ahead of time for a show. When we came, every seat was taken. For the play we saw on a Sunday afternoon, in the front row in the center section, it was about $45, which you can purchase online. I'd be interested to see what future shows they have here as I'm so glad to have discovered this treasured community space.

I was happy that the theater was willing to approach a bold topic and the audience appeared to enjoy it thoroughly. So great that all this is provided - all you have to bring is yourself and a chair and blankets .. Some people were pretty nifty with sleeping bags! The movies they play are great - this week is Guardians of the Galaxy :) the only thing is that it is at a cement lot not grass... That doesn't stop people from setting up on the floor - just be prepared :) ps u can also bring your own food - this is a wonderful free community event!!

Don't let the modest entrance fool you; it leads to a spacious and comfortable lobby with a couple of studio spaces and multiple restrooms/changing rooms. Each of the teachers brings a slightly different style to the studio, and no two classes are ever the same - they'll often ask for requests (e.g. tight hamstrings, hips, shoulders) before class and add a bit of extra emphasis based on yogis' feedback that day. They're all awesome with offering modifications to make your practice either more or less intense too, so each class can meet you exactly where you're at that day. I am happy to have found such a group of caring people who want to make a difference in the lives of others. Almost any given day food is served and funds are raised to help causes. The members of the Eagles are so friendly! It's a great community! The facility is so versatile. The front portion has a bar with with nice people, great music, drinks, snacks & games. The back portion is a fantastic event hall. In fact, my bestie threw an engagement party there a few years ago and it was amazing! I have since seen many large charity benefit dinners, cornhole tournaments, trivia, karaoke, and more! Part of the event hall is a large industrial kitchen. I had always wanted to join the Eagles... but had never checked into it until recently. It was an easy process and was so inexpensive! Many of my friends have also been joining... I am looking forward to many new memories to come, helping people with this wonderful group!
