All along, Kyro simplified our planning tasks, recommended great vendors, and provided very valuable advice. On the wedding day, Kyro ran everything very smoothly, and managed to pull off an incredible event while navigating strong personalities across some of the vendors. I would hire Kyro again for any wedding or corporate event!

After the wedding, I now think this was the best money we ever spent. Throughout the day, they made sure everything was taken care of perfectly. They told me when and where to go to keep everything moving on time, they coordinated all the setup, and made sure I didn't accidentally run into my fiancé before the ceremony. After the ceremony they were kind and smart enough to set aside some appetizers for my wife and I to enjoy in our room while we took a quick breather. We were too busy with pictures to have enjoyed them otherwise. They let us know when it was time to go down for dinner, which we had opted to do outside. We had some bad luck, and it was very hot and sunny - so much so that we decided we needed to move the dinner inside, and Kyro and her team got it all sorted in minutes. Our venue had very strict rules where we would be charged steep fines if everyone (including cleanup) wasn't out by a certain time, and she and her team made sure that everything went to plan. They packed our cars with everything we had brought, making sure we didn't forget a thing. We could not have made it through without the help of Kyro and her team. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We worked with her in a day-of-coordinator capacity, in which she had multiple meeting with us before the wedding, sent us a Google Drive full of organizational resources that made our planning so smooth, reviewed all our vendor contracts, and answered random wedding industry-related questions that we had. On the day before our wedding, we had a venue walk-through with her, in which she coordinated details with the venue liaison, and she also led rehearsal. What is most worth your investment is what happens on the day-of. I told Emily my goal was to not make any decisions that day except how many slices of cake I was going to have, and that's exactly what happened. She took care of everything - set up, tear down, vendor coordination, decor, helping to wrangle family for photos, the flow of the evening, the rhythm of the processional, and I'm sure she did a thousand other things we didn't even notice. At one point in the night I asked for a pen and she appeared 5 seconds later with one in hand. Her presence allowed us to fully enjoy being in the moment and also took pressure off our friends and family so they could relax as well. We would recommend Emily's work to any of our friends and family.

The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and professional. I began with a pasta dish, three cheese tortellini , crab and bay shrimp. The chef prepared the dish in front of me. Absolutely delicious! The offerings were plenty and very well presented. The salmon, Dungeness crab(served cold), ham , prawns and numerous other proteins were fresh and tasty. The sides were also very good and well stocked. I was able to save some room for dessert. The crème brûlée, apple almond pie, coconut puffs were outstanding! Our server was Joseph and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My entire family really liked Joseph and would go back to Salty's just to have him as our server. The entire experience was great. The buffet price at the time of our visit was $95 for adults and substantially less for children. This was my second visit to the Salty's Sunday brunch and it was worth every penny. Thanks again Joseph!

Planning a wedding is supposed to be one of the most exciting things - and stressful things in…read more your life. Wedding planners are SUPPOSED to make this process bearable, and help with your big day. Something is bound to go wrong, and hey that's life. However that was not the case with my experience with JDH Events. First of all, Jacques boasts about how the sky is the limit and he will do whatever it takes to make your day perfect. He constantly talks about previous clients and what vendors offer him kickbacks for using their services. He also states that he offers unlimited meetings (granted he did travel to our location and took notes). The communication I had with JDH was all one way. At one point in time he hired another planner to take over my wedding - who was fantastic at communication and brainstorming ideas. Then all of a sudden that planner disappeared and Jacques was back to planning my wedding and weeks after no communication he calls me to explain the situation. Jacques promised to take care of my tables and bar tenders as a way of apologizing for the hiccups in the planning process. I had a walk through of the venue and specially asked for a specific location for the ceremony, and pointed out where I wanted things to go. Jacques didn't take note of anything. A week before the wedding Jacques came to my house to pick up wedding décor - to which at this point he never asked where anything was going. I had put notes on each tub and drew rough pictures of how I wanted things set up. I reminded Jacques about an issue we had with a our caterer who had promised to give us a gallon of sauce for free. (I even saw Jacques write that note down.) He ensured me that everything would be set up for me to go over at the rehearsal. At the rehearsal after we dropped off the remaining bits of décor, the ceremony site was set up in a completely different spot than I had asked and nothing else was set up. Jacques stated that he decided to wait until the morning of to get everything set up and any time I tried to move décor to where I wanted it, his staff told me to stop and "enjoy the day". Jacques then took over the rehearsal and ran us through everything so fast that we didn't even have time to practice exchanging rings and then left the venue. I had talked to Jacques about what I envisioned as far as decorations for the day of. None of it happened. At all. After I arrived to the venue on the morning of the wedding all the décor was thrown onto random tables. The ceremony arch was wrong and I had to point it out to him. It's like he never listened or looked at any notes I had given him. I spent hundreds of dollars on decorations that were never put out. I have wedding pictures of my decorations on tables, in bags. I have wedding pictures of my name spelled incorrectly on tables. I have wedding pictures of pictures that were supposed to be hung around trees, in piles on tables and the ground. I worked so hard an when I saw what was put up, I was heart broken. I had to tell my wedding party to move things as I had no faith in JDH at this point. For the dinner, my husband and I did a pig roast and had the side dishes catered. I purchased vendor meals to ensure that all of my vendors had a chance to get some meat (since I wasn't sure when they would grab food) A part of the vendor meals were bags of chips. There was only 10 of them, and instead of asking - Jacques put the chips out for the regular guests, so it looked like poor planning on our part. There was also no sauce. At all. I asked Jacques where the sauce was and he told me the restaurant didn't give them any when they picked up the food. Instead he handed my husband and I, small to-go sized containers of sauce. Nothing else for my guests. Jacques had even written himself a note to remind the store of the gallon of sauce they promised us - and nothing. He decided to wait until we were sending guests to get food to tell us, when we could have ran to the store (which was less than 10 minutes) to make sure the guests had something. When it came to clean up I informed JDH what rentals needed to leave with specific people. My maid of honor also had volunteered to meet him the next day to pick up rentals (which he made her wait over an hour by her self at the venue after telling her he would be there) I had my florist call me on my HONEYMOON to ask when I was returning the rentals because Jacques had put them in my garage instead of returning them. My mother had to ship rentals back because Jacques handed her the wrong ones. Jacques returned 3 arches to my house, two of them broken. He decided to THROW AWAY our ceremony arch without speaking to us first. He offered to pay for it but money cannot replace the memories. If you are thinking of using JDH for your wedding, DO NOT DO IT. He ruined my wedding. I paid $3200 for a glorified day of coordinator that messed everything up. Worst mistake of my wedding planning was hiring him.
