Seats about 24 inside with a patio for... 25? in the back. The brick patio was covered only by a pergola, so not weather proof. Ham, cheese & egg croissant was lovely! I felt like it could have used a tomato jam or something - something to offer some acidity to the mix. The Covered Wagon (a breakfast burrito, smothered in gravy) was very good! We both agreed it needed spice or more seasoning. My husband added lots of pepper and some Tabasco sauce (that's the only sauce they had available, plus salt and pepper). This trip we had friends with us and it was a busy early Saturday afternoon. Megan was delightful and and energetic server. Again they Bailey wife's eggs with whites cooked and yolks runny. The monte cristo our friend ordered was super done including the jam. I was able to order online with ease while we finished getting gas and a car wash. By the time we were done my order was ready which was about 10 mins. Since we had to get back on the road we couldn't stay to eat especially since our pup was in the car. However, from what I could tell the inside was very inviting. The staff was also very nice. Food and coffee were both great. I got a croissant sandwich and the potatoes. My only critique would be to cook the potatoes just a touch longer so they are crispy like they look online and a little more seasoning. My wife had to go back in to get me salt and pepper for them. I had a macchiato as well which was great. If we ever drive through the area again on a road trip I'll be sure to stop by again.

This is my husband's favorite breakfast. The biscuits and sausage gravy were amazing, in my husband's expert opinion. ( having consumed this dish almost everywhere) I had 'just avocado toast' (their no egg version) and it was very good. I suspect the bread was freshly baked and not from a commercial bakery. Now let's talk about the important thing. The coffee. They have a coffee, hot or iced called the 'Sweet Bourbon Brew'. I figured I was unlikely to get freshly roasted coffee with bourbon syrup from the nearby distillery anywhere else and went for it. It is AMAZING. I would come back just for this. Now, the restaurant itself. Live music on a Saturday morning. Kitschy, eclectic decor that was obviously quite intentional, and a DOLLY PARTON CORNER that has obviously existed for quite some time. Their motto appears to be a Dolly Parton quote. "If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours". Yes. It's that kind of place. They also seem to be attempting to control their carbon footprint.

It's the kind of place you instantly know you'll want to return to. This was our first time here and we were go glad we made the little trip down to Bourbon, MO! We ordered the bacon and egg panini, and it was cooked perfectly. Whatever homemade seasoned butter they use deserves special recognition--it added so much flavor and made an already great sandwich even better. Of course, the dessert case was impossible to ignore. Everything looked incredible, and choosing was no easy task. We finally settled on a pecan brownie and a sea-salt chocolate chip gooey butter cake slice. Both were fantastic, but the gooey butter cake completely stole the show. Hands-down, it was the absolute best gooey butter cake I have ever had--and I've tried many from plenty of bakers over the years. This single slice may have changed my outlook on life. They've set the bar so high that I honestly don't know how anyone else could top it. Warmed up just as the owner suggested, it was melt-in-your-mouth perfection with a tender, flaky crust and incredible flavor. Absolutely phenomenal. We will definitely be back again--and you should go too!
