After my visit and speaking to Linda I was happy to make an appointment to get my pet groomed. I got my pet groomed and he looked amazing and he was not stressed out when I returned to pick him up after his grooming appointment. He was completed with his grooming as she stated he would be. Then I started noticing little things that irritated me yet they called me a difficult client. They had treated my two cats. One had diabetes and other issues. This one girl never got along with me from the get go. She had an attituede and apologized for it a couple times, but yet still marked me as a difficult client. Well it is supposed to be an animal hospital...I ask you does an Animal HOSPITAL, have a right to call it's business this when they won't treat pets after business hours even though they have the appropriate equipment to treat them. I had a problem ONE TIME when they decided to treat my fur baby on a SATURDAY. The TECH they sent in to meet me was exadtly that a TECH, not a vet, yet they decided she would be good enough. WRONG....and the charges were astronomical!!! Then one time that I was leaving there I saw the receptionist give this woman the remains of her deceased dog, and just say "HAVE A NICE DAY"..... She was crying. I followed her out to her truck and asked her if she was ok, then she really started crying, and told her it was ok and asked her dog's name. Then I sat there and listened to her tell me stories about him. The poor lady. They should have had someone walk the lady out and listened to her for a few minutes. I couldn't believe it. FINALLY WHAT IT CAME DOWN TO WAS: My KITTY was sick and it looked like she was throwing up blood, i called the clinic and the lady said if you bring her right in the vet can see her, and I told her it would be a few minutes, because i knew it would be hard to get her into her carrier because if she is sick she hides. The girl said as long as your here before noon...and "Oh yes, you will be charged for the visit as an emergency. I got to the clinic and called them and told them I was there, and then they told me I coudn't get in to see her now because we had already made an appt. for MONDAY. I said yes we did as a f/u to today. And you told me that I could get in if i got here before noon. She kept insisting that I could not get her seen. After all the money I spent there. Each visit no matter what it was always costs almost 200.00 and they don't even give out complimentary nail cutting. Dr. Howe used to do that. I mean this business spent millions revampin g the place then raised their rates. I had beeen a client for over 10 years and probabvly put millions into it. And to have this business treat me like my kitty and I didn't matter was just horrible. It makes me wonder if i SHOULD TRUST ANY BUSINESS THAT CATERS TO FUR BABIES IN A NICE ENVIRONMENT. THEY GO THRU STAFF LIKE THEY ARE " disposable goods." THE WHOLE PLACE IS A SCAM FOR MONEY NOW. I had the utmost respect for it when DR. BOUVERETTE they were the initial owners. I can't believe they still own it. Then the vet has the audacity to tell me my kitty is overweight AND IF YOU KNEW HER SHE IS DEFINITELY A HYPOCRITE!!! And her husband worked there. Matter of fact I became a client back when they were first opening and the office looked poorish and they had a space heater. Dr. Bouverette came into meet my kitty and got down on the floor with it, and was petting it and talking so nice then they started upgrading and there were no good vets that would spend five minutes with you and discuss your furbaby. they did a sanitary shave on my baby cuz she has a birth defect and cut her and then tried to downplay it. meanwhile she got an infection. My little Levi boy is a rescue and even though we've had him for over four years, he still has…read moreseparation issues. Yet when I brought him for his first visit, he was nervous, I could see he wasn't afraid. He loved his groomer! When I picked him up he looked lovely, and I could just tell, he wasn't traumatized as he sometimes can be a bit when he has to go to the groomer. My instructions were followed to the letter and the groomer listened patiently to my concerns about my little Levi and his issues. Even though this groomer is quite far from my home, the experience for Levi was so positive, I'll be taking him back!

They offer a variety of special treats and experiences for your pup there, but you can also opt to give your pup a more basic stay/day of play. They diligently checked his vaccines, observed his temperament, and made sure he was a good boy before taking him in. Not to mention they went above and beyond for us. I'm happy to make this experience a more regularly scheduled event for us. He absolutely loved it and his caretakers sent me photos all day. I've included them here.

I appreciate the pics on the Facebook page, seeing her playing with her pals is comforting. They are very, very good at putting "like" personalities together for a cohesive group. At other places we've tried dogs were grouped by size without regard to temperament. My girl is midsized but mellow. When she isn't as mellow she is transferred to the more energetic group. I love the drop in play care as sometimes plans change last minute. They're always great about offering exit baths which is great as well. Would highly recommend.

The only thing I didn't like was their policy regarding bathroom time. The expectation was that dogs just go inside the building. There were no outdoor bathroom breaks in the winter. The employee explained they only take the dogs out in the warmer months. I saw an employee walking around with a mop keeping things cleaned up so the place was not unclean. My concern, and perhaps unfounded, was my dog would get confused and start having accidents at home. It just seemed a strange policy to me.

Aunt B's was referred to us when our initial dog sitter backed out a couple weeks before our Hawaii vacation. Referrals from friends with great experiences is priceless. We were so relieved to find that they had availability to take our old boy for 9 days. We were a bit worried he wouldn't do well away from us for so long, but after the initial meeting and seeing the facilities in person, we were happy our boy got a vacation of his own. He played, had his own space and got lots of attention. The facilities are great. Individual kennels for overnight puppers or when one get a little crabby. The community area is a great play space with couches, and even a TV for them. Outside are gated paddocks to play or do their business. We bring their food and treats from home. I wrote out his meal schedule, potential meds should the need arise, and brought his blankets. He was set. Bridgette is so sweet and was always quick with a return text when I asked about our boy while on our trip. He did so well with the other dogs, I am glad he had friends to play with while we are away. (He doesn't at home) Aunt B requires a letter from your vet that shows your pupper is up to date on all shots and tests. They accept cash, check or Venmo. Their prices are more than reasonable, which left ample room for a good tip from us on top of the fee. Great facility (though a bit outside of town for most) and fantastic people. Highly recommended.
