If you are considering this facility for yourself or someone you know I would look for somewhere…read moreelse, don't let looks fool you this place is a lovely looking place but a handful of the staff make it ugly. I was verbally, emotionally, and physically altercations of abuse. I was bullied, targeted singled out my privacy was violated my daughter was exposed to these unprofessional and rude behaviors. Passive aggressive attitudes, my medical needs deprived. The "care" they provided was traumatic. Ms. Brenda, Ms cj, ms.leeann, another woman I cannot recall her name. But Ms Brenda was the most abusive staff member of all. She made my private information public crap talking to staff loud enough for other clients to hear. She raised her voice and slammed and threw things in the presence of my 1 year old and I. My daughter was napping while I was in the shower as she thrusted aggressively a pushing cart into my room that loudly slammed into my kitchen table in front of my bedroom door where my daughter was sleeping. She unplugged my alarm clock multiple times without my permission. She ripped a sign I put on my front door. Another staff denied me my meds so I had to call 911 to get a ambulance to take me to hospital for my daily medication but in the middle of my phone call Ms Brenda hung up the call and persisted to try unplugging the phone but was stopped by another staff in time for me to call for medical help again. She has over 50 grievances on her in the 3months of her employment I'm one of the many others she bullied. She denied another client the right to call 911 even though the clients baby was sick and barely breathing and later was put on a ventilator at the hospital that night. I have more to tell but I'll stop here as this is quite long enough. Best wishes to everyone seeking the help they can feel safe and listened to and treated with respect and dignity.

I wanted to get it looked at right away so I could know what sort of recovery timeline I was in for. Luckily, Neuro Base Camp came through. I called them Monday morning and they were able to squeeze me in that day! Dr Farabee spent the time working with me to dial in exactly what the injury was and how I could treat it. Instead of being stumped, he continued working to finally determine the cause of my pain and it was indeed a non-standard injury. I feel like other PTs could have just mailed it in and sent me on my way with generic ankle exercises. Hoping to be back on my feet soon... thanks NBC!

I am so happy that I found Becca when I began having vertigo for the second time in my life. The…read morefirst time I went to so many doctors visits (one urgent care, two family medicine, two ENT, two neurologists) that did very little to help me understand why I had vertigo and how to treat it which left me with lingering dizziness for almost a year and eventually required medication. Becca heard my history and current issues and immediately identified my current problem as BPPV by using her fancy video eye recording goggles. Based on my eye movements she moved me through a procedure with the goal of moving the crystals back into the proper canal. I was rather dizzy and nauseous after the procedures. Becca was hopeful after my first visit that everything would be back to normal but I had some residual issues and she told me I should come back for more treatment. At our second visit she noted more eye movement with her fancy eye video goggles and we went through a different procedure to treat. I was less dizzy/nauseous after this time and Becca encouraged me that she thought this treatment should do the trick. I had some vertigo again at home and texted Becca feeling very concerned and she quickly replied and reassured me that the crystals were most likely still settling into place. At our final visit Becca tested me again with the fancy goggles and she saw no eye movements, hooray! I did have some lingering issues with my vision and complex visual fields triggering some dizziness and she gave me exercises to do to help reset my brain/vision. After a few weeks of the exercises I felt back to normal. I was slightly nervous about the self pay but comparing the cost to my husbands Pt visits to an in network PT I realized the prices were much lower at Nuero Base Camp. Becca provided me super bills which I submitted to my insurance for partial credit towards my deductible. They even rejected a few for very nit-picky reasons and Becca updated them for me for resubmission. I wish I had been referred to a Physical Therapist like Becca that specialized in dizziness by any of the many doctors I saw during my first bout of vertigo. It would have saved me a lot of time, money, and health anxiety. I would recommend Becca to anyone struggling to understand their dizziness or vertigo.

Dr. Kelly Prill, ND is the only naturopathic physician & neurologist in Portland, OR specializing…read morein traumatic brain injury, and she's fantastic! Since seeing her, she's made a monumental difference in clarifying which dietary habits are ideal for concussion recovery, she tested my blood for any core mineral deficiencies holding me back from healing and highlighted which therapeutic supplements I needed, and she tested my hormones to double check that I have the right balance to thrive. She also does cold laser therapy (painless btw), and gentle caniosacral work. She's firm about what you need to do and has really simple, easy to understand explanations of how things work, has strong follow up, and is quite nurturing. I highly recommend her if you've had a head injury!

After reading reviews about her work with TBI , I thought it would be worth going in for a consult…read moreas I'd suffered a subdural hematoma TBI some years ago and wasn't getting a lot of advice from the traditional medical system who wanted to lump me in with the dementia and Alzheimer's patients and never gave me any practical tools for improving some cognitive issues I've been dealing with. I was a bit unsure however because her website doesn't say anything about where she went to school or types of TBIs she has worked with (and has some misspellings as well) but my wife encouraged me to have a chat with her and at least get another perspective. Unfortunately, the consult was primarily used for me to tell her about my TBI and she shared nothing about her experience working with people who had subdural hematomas and seemed to lump all TBIs in together. (Sorry but a concussion is not the same type of TBI as a subdural hematoma where they drilled a hole in my skull and I had to relearn to walk and talk). The only thing I could get is that she wanted to check my hormone levels (which I told her has already been done) and talk about dietary issues (which is truly irrelevant to what I'm dealing with), and then do the hard sell to get me to buy one of her packages. Even though I never scheduled an appointment at the end, before I got home 10 minutes late she'd already - without my approval - signed me up on her "patient portal" and sent me a patient questionnaire, even though I had not agreed to become her patient! I appreciate what NDs can bring to the table but if you've had a serious TBI I cannot in good conscience say that Dr Prill is ready to take on rehabilitating patients. She seems like a nice person but upon further review we found her website says she is *going to school* for "functional" neurology (FN is not the same as medical neurology and I learned it's also simply an offshoot of the chiropractic industry...not necessarily a bad thing cannot be lumped in with regular neurology whatsoever, which TBI patients should be aware of) so it's more like seeing an intern in the FN specialty of naturopathic medicine. So this review is for TBI folks, not for regular folks looking for a ND, and should be viewed as such.
