Very DISAPPOINTED. My group of friends were Spanish and Black. The waitress Karen(ironic) was rude. Yelled in our faces for wanting to pick a different seat and instead of handing us our straws she basically threw them at us. She embarrassed us in front of everyone! The food was ok but I will not be returning. And she still works there. I wish I could leave zero stars! The nerve while working in a Mexican restaurant HA! She then had the nerve to say her daughter went to a good college and asked us what are we doing with our lives? Told us we couldn't afford guacamole. Only brought one check when we wanted multiple because it was a big group of us. She said well you should've told me that even though every waitress is supposed to ask. She was so nasty. It was a big joke. Wouldn't trust them. Probably overcharges or manipulates people's food. Don't come here period. read more

If I could give 3.5 stars then I would. The service from Sergio was great! Having never been to Stony Point, this was a good first look. The panoramic views of the Hudson are beautiful. We sat inside and they have TVs showing sports games (nothing good on during our meal, but good to know they're there). The decor is good. The guacamole was decent. The fajitas were decent. The fish tacos were actually kind of fishy and lame.... perhaps previously frozen fish... I don't know why.... Horrible food that tasted like it was microwaved. The appetizer plates were dirty, The food honestly tasted like 3 day old left overs or a frozen dinner and my stomach felt it the day after. The rice and beans were not fresh at all. The tomatoes, onions lettuce etc looked like they were chopped 3 days ago and put in the refrigerator with out a lid. Worst of all the seasoning was bland and not authentic at all. The portions were not worth 17$+ per plate even the Childrens chicken tender sucked badly. The tamales and the fajitas were horrible! I went here for the first time yesterday. The food was excellent, the location is great, and the staff was friendly. So why am I only giving it three stars? Because it's too loud. As I've gotten older, I have found it hard to follow conversations when there is too much ambient noise. I'm not an expert on acoustics, but it felt like every conversation here was echoing off the ceiling directly at me. I had to tell my wife to talk louder and I had to lean in to hear the server. Unfortunately, a lot of restaurants are like this now, and it is no longer acceptable to me. If I'm going to sit down to have a meal with family or friends, I want to enjoy the conversation. As I said, the food is excellent, so I will order takeout from them in the future. read more

Yesterday was Cinco de Mayo and as expected the place was going to be a mad house, especially since everyone is home due to the coronavirus. They specifically asked to order in advance due to a busier day expected. That's fine. What isn't fine is that I arrived at 5:20 to pick up my order and didn't receive it till 7:20. There were plenty of people in the same boat as me and it was very unprofessional for a restaurant that knew they'd be busy. It was very unorganized and the woman running things was very rude and nasty. Then when I got the food it was cold which made sense cause there were rows of orders in the restaurant in bags that they weren't handing out. I will never come here again which sucks cause the food is actually pretty decent. Next time stop taking orders early and come up with a better system because this whole situation was horrible. read more

We came here randomly on Wednesday afternoon after deciding that we wanted to explore North Rockland and try something besides BJ's and Blue Fig for the umpteenth time. I'm so glad we did- Sergio was our waiter and was so helpful, friendly, and made our experience great. I ordered the appetizer platter and it was delicious- I loved the mini chimichangas. Walked to this great spot from the Haverstraw Marina. Started off the meal with some complimentary chips and salsa then enjoyed a combination dinner platter of a taco, enchilada and burrito, all of which were delicious. The rice that came with it was a bit cold and dry. Margarita was average. Easily the best Mexican restaurant in all of Rockland county. Found it because of Yelp reviews and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. We went a couple weeks ago and then again today for our anniversary. Thus far I can say: Chalupa appetizer is tasty and filling. The chilaquiles were so delicious that when I said "I'd order these again," my husband replied. "Me too, as in right now. I want more." The rice is soft and fluffy. The beans are smooth and flavorful. While I haven't had a full order of the guacamole, I have had it on my chimichangas and can attest that it's awesome. My husband loves the enchiladas and I am a big fan of the chimichangas. We didn't get any but the sangria looked amazing. Definitely recommend this place. read more

This jewel of a place was at first just very convenient; (I park a boat at the marina less than one km away) then, after trying some of my favorite dishes that are a little challenging to get right I have become a regular!. It's the Mole sauce is a perfect blend of spice and chocolate , the Suizas is just the right green chili, the rellenos are never over-fried or greasy. They do great work with octopus as well. The food was DELICIOUS! I live around the road in stony point and I received their flyer in the mail so I decided to give them a try. I order the seafood soup, nachos, and the shrimp fajitas. The seafood soup was my FAVORITE probably the best I've had in a long time. The soup was spicy but not too overwhelming and it had shrimp, clams, crab legs and mussels. It was so tasty !!! read more

I tried this place with a friend recently for the first time. It is in a very nice spot on the riverfront in Stony Point. The dining room is bright, clean, and cheerful. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty with big portions, and the prices are reasonable. So the food part was just fine. But the pitcher of margaritas, which was pricey because we went for the top shelf tequila, just didn't do it for me. They need to put more alcohol in the drinks. I could barely taste the tequila, and from the way I felt after having more than three glasses of margarita, I knew that they were rather skimpy on the alcohol content. So, I guess if you are okay eating Mexican food without the margaritas, this is a fine place. Otherwise, you may be disappointed. read more

Our favorite Mexican restaurant! We go here all the time. In fact they don't even bring us menus anymore because we know it by heart. The food here as well as the service is 100% top notch. my friends & i decided to go here to eat tonight because it looked very good & never been before, we decided to sit outside instead of inside. I order guacamole which was delicious & my husband ordered calamari which was also good, our waitress (Karen L) Was very rude & so unprofessional. The first thing that was rude was when she threw a straw at my husband, when she set everybody elses straw down at their place. the second thing was when we asked her if we could move inside & she said "why is it too buggy" we laughed and said yes , she said okay you can go inside, we sat for a few because we thought she would lead us inside instead she comes outside & yells across the place saying "your food is ready if your going to go inside go" with a lot of attitude in front of everybody we decided to stay outside because at that point we thought we were a bother to her & The third thing was when she asked us if we needed to go boxes my friend said everybody needed one & my other friend asked for two, she only came out with two & when i asked for more to go boxes she said " you should have told me you wanted more to go boxes when i asked you the first time " & i said my friend told you everybody so she went back & got us our boxes. The final thing was when we were still eating & talking , she came & gave us one check, there were 6 of us & didn't even ask if we wanted to separate checks or one check, we said we needed separate & she said " well you didn't tell me & i can't give you separate checks " with a lot of attitude then walked away, my friend tried speaking with her calmly & she still refused to give us separate checks. I went to her & told her none of us have enough money on us to pay the full price & she said "well nobody told me it was separate" so i said " you didn't even ask us & we didn't even know you were bringing the check out " she said " have you ever been to a restaurant before " i said " you're unprofessional & rude " that's when she started raising her voice at me & getting all in my face, i guess she was mad i called her unprofessional my husband interfered saying " who are you raising your voice at, you need to lower your voice when you talk to her" she started yelling at him asking him " you can't afford to pay for her guacamole, where are you going in life, etc. " & i personally think that shouldn't be said with all the things going on right now , we feel like she was being racist, she acted completely different towards us than any other people that were there. that's when things escalated & the manager Sergio came out, who decided to make it so we can pay separate & was very nice too us. He said that this isn't the first time people complained about her being rude & got into arguments with her. He apologized for everything that happened. read more

It's my first time posting a review and sadly I felt the need to express my thoughts about this place, the place is really nice the food is good. I went with my whole family for mother's day and the reason we went was because we heard it was Many Tello restaurant and is been 8 years since they closed Fiesta Cancun in Stony Point so since then we haven't have any good Mexican restaurant in the area, people that know Many Tello knows that he is a really cool and nice guy, smiling all the time and always treats people like his own family. However we had an issue when we arrived to this new restaurant ,the lady at front was really rude , because we know from the beginning that we have to wait for a table because it was mother's day, so any way, the tone of voice she used to instruct us to wait she seemed angry but we waited like 1 hour & 15 min because we really wanted to give it a try. Meanwhile we saw two families leave the restaurant but not for the wait time but because of the way the lady at the front was talking to them when they approached to ask for wait time. She never made an effort to make the customers feel comfortable or offer them to have a drink on the bar and also the way she was yelling to the other employees for everything was not pleasant. I am not sure if she is the owner or manager but is not a good management which makes the customers uncomfortable at least it was for my family. We might come back when she is not there. read more
