I'm not a connoisseur of fine meats (although I'm familiar with wagyu generally speaking). After…read moreall, I was a vegetarian for 18 years. But it's been 9 hours, and I still can't stop thinking about the Australian Wagyu Filet Katsu Sando I had for lunch. It was tiny, but packed a huge flavor, and it was the first time I ate a steak that melted like butter with every bite. It is amazing how a filet sandwich can be so soft, so tender, so flavorful - it's an experience that I won't soon forget. Because the sandwich was pretty small, I also enjoyed the Frito pie. The saltiness of the Fritos (that reminded me of being a child) juxtaposed with the tanginess of the pickled red onions, cream, cilantro and savory chopped wagyu meat was such a fun, but elevated nacho dish. There were so many drinks to choose from, but I really wanted to focus on the food this time. The staff (I think her name is Tuesday) was so kind and knowledgeable - she's the one who led me to the epic sandwich experience I had. The vibe was pretty chill despite being extremely busy. I'm typically not very cognizant of what people around me are eating, but the father and son at the table next to me had a burger, burrito, pb&j sando and more, and I have to admit, I was kind of jealous, because I wanted to try it all! What a gem of a restaurant - I have already made plans to come back with my parents!

Everything was tasty and everything was Wagyu! Interesting side note - Another reviewer mentioned getting ill after eating here. Neither of us got sick but we both experienced oogly tummies and "bubble gut". I don't know if it's a side effect of all the fat in Wagyu or something else, but it is what it is. The food was still great! The service was great! And we had a good time...

Walked in and it felt like a high-end convenience store. They got a little bit of everything, but nothing really deep. Prices were up there too for what it is. Most people coming through were just grabbing one or two things and dipping. Fresh veggies and produce? Slim pickings. Not what I was expecting at all. Wine and ice cream selection looked solid, but I didn't mess with it. The only thing that actually hit was the açai bowl -- that was fire. Staff was decent, nothing crazy. If I'm on that side of town I might swing back just for another açai bowl. Outside of that though... hard pass.
