Geety was rude, unresponsive, disorganized, and unhelpful in so many ways. I hired her because the wedding venue I was working with at the time had recommended her. In November of 2017, I initially paid her $500 because that was the booking fee I was given; I had expressed at that time that I wouldn't be able to pay anything else until March. However, around January, she called me rudely stating that I needed to pay an additional $1500 as soon as possible in order to keep my booking date (September 2018). I explained to her that was not what I agreed to, nor was that written on the agreement. I also stated that I had been trying to contact her, yet she hadn't been responding. (Her excuse was that she was out of town, but I later found out that if you weren't making a payment then she wouldn't respond.) After speaking with her, she had the wedding venue's sales person to contact me regarding the $1500. At that moment, I told the sales person that I didn't want to work with Getty anymore because she's rude and unresponsive; she doesn't embody good customer service. The sales person stated that she'd speak with Getty. I guess she spoke with her because I didn't hear from her again until March. In March 2018, I paid Getty another $1500, after paying we set up a consultation, whereas I went to her showroom picked out what I wanted. Before leaving, I told her that I'd like an updated agreement. Days later, I emailed her about the agreement, yet I never received it. August comes, and a traumatic incident happens which leads me to have to change my wedding date. I contact Getty by email, and no response. A week later I ended up texting her, then hours later she calls. She stated that I couldn't get my money back (which wasn't stated in the agreement), and if I change the date then she could apply the $500 deposit to my new date. However, according to her, initially, the deposit was $2000. Two weeks later, I sent Getty an email saying that I no longer need her to decorate the venue, I would only like 8 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 bride bouquet, 1 groom boutonniere, and 8 groomsmen boutonnieres, which the $2000 should cover. Getty didn't respond. A week later I texted her saying the same thing. Still, Getty didn't respond. A day later I sent Getty a duplicated texted. She responds saying, "Yes, call me." Since then, I've called Getty three times and no answer. I believe I am now on her blocked list. Yes, from the looks of things, she does an amazing job decorating, however she treats her customers poorly. I am very big on customer service; therefore, I will not spend my money with a rude, unorganized, and insensitive person. I would never ever recommend Platinum Wedding Décor to anyone. Getty took that money and is now gone in the wind. read more
