It is hard to keep everything moving along -- if you don't have the attention of the audience, so i was very appreciative that she could maintain her composure and work with so many moving parts. I will say that Alexis went above and beyond at our wedding. The venue had some step backs and didn't execute all of our wishes, but Alexis was there to the rescue. She was able to complete all of the necessary tasks, while still managing all of the vendors and the wedding party. To say the least, i am grateful to have her there. It really felt like she cared about making everything perfect. Sana showed up early, got to know our vendors and wedding party, and just totally took over in the best way. I didn't have to answer a single question or stress about anything. Everything flowed so smoothly -- the ceremony, the reception, speeches, dances, everything -- and she kept us right on schedule without making it feel rushed or too structured. There were a few small things that went wrong (as always happens on a wedding day), and I didn't even know about them until later because Lux Moments handled everything behind the scenes like a pro. Another person in our group wasn't allowed to take a cart to pick up a teammate and was instead told they had to walk up and check in first. It felt unnecessarily rigid and not customer-friendly. At the turn, I stopped to grab a Gatorade and had one of the more bizarre customer service experiences I've had. The only thing that greeted me was a dog. Multiple employees saw me standing there--including someone from the office and even a greenskeeper who walked in, grabbed a water, and left without paying--yet no one acknowledged me. Our initial linen and cutlery selections were lost and I had to schedule a 2nd day to reselect those things. Despite coming in twice and meeting personally with the owner Sammy, the chargers and silverware at our wedding weren't what we selected. The room looked beautiful and the guests wouldn't have known, but it was disappointing particularly since I had to go out twice. I consider this to be a minor issue. 2. *More importantly* The bartender was quick, accommodating, and everyone was impressed with him throughout the evening. At the end of the night, one of our groomsmen caught him attempting to steal some unopened bottles of the liquor we had provided. The bartender had been slipping a bottle away at a time when he would go out to the trash, and there were bottles hidden behind the trashcan ready for him to collect at the end of the night. We also found out that our guests were told certain drinks couldn't be made because we were out of Tequila, when in fact there were more bottles of liquor not being opened because they had been set aside as his "stockpile." The bartender seemed embarrassed to have been caught and the groomsman allowed him to keep one of the bottles he had stolen as a tip for his service that evening (although we had already provided a monetary tip). When we told Sammy about this after the wedding was over, he insisted he had no reason to believe us. After we made it clear that we weren't seeking a refund and spoke to the owner of Rose Hill Manor (who was very upset to hear about this), Sammy apologized and insisted he would investigate and get back to us by the end of that weekend. It has been over two months since this discussion and we haven't yet gotten our phone call back from Sammy... His silence speaks volumes about the values of Gala Cuisine.

Owned by a South Asian it does cater to a lot of South Asian weddings but also other denominations. Pretty and large open space. However you have to park at the bottom of the Hill and walk up. If its cold or in heels, good luck. There is a small shuttle that will take 4-7 folks up but be careful getting in and out. If its early April and its cold, wear warm clothes like a overcoat. The bar and place for food buffets is outside...great for warm weather but not cold. The outdoor toilets flood so be aware. Nice large tent for guests but in cold weather don't depend on warmth from the heater as the door outside stays open a lot. Seems like a nice place to hold weddings with space but caveats beware.
