I took my clothes here for the first time. When I dropped off one jacket and two dresses, she handed me a ticket and said the clothing would be ready on Wednesday. I looked at the ticket expecting to see how much it would cost, and there was nothing there. I asked the lady how much money it would cost and she said she did not know... She does not have a price sheet. I said that is very strange that I am leaving my clothing here and have no idea how much it will cost. It was my mistake for being that stupid because when I came back to get my dry cleaning three days later I paid $64! I literally paid more money to get these items dry cleaning than I paid for them when I purchased them at Marshalls. A total total rip off and horrible business model. It would be like going to a restaurant and eating dinner and having no idea how much money it will cost until after you've eaten the food and then the waiter tells you how much you owe. The first time i tried this business I brought in a queen size comforter to be dry cleaned. They did not dry clean it. Instead they laundered and dry it! Then charged me $40+. If so wanted it laundered I could have done it myself. Recently I brought in 10 items; 2 ties, 2 shirts, dress with little cover, sweater, sleeveless sweater, pair of dress pants, and a little dress top. They charged $125.30. Went to platinum fry cleaners on radio in Naples manger or owner told me dry clean a shirt was 3.95 that's a fucken joke my 3 shirts came out to $38.53 on shirt they put a button that was $11.00. Kandy is very nice but Blanca and the other staffs are rude and short with me on my visits there.I have been coming here quite a while.When you great them they don't greet you back.The young lady was on her phone at the counter when I came and ignored me. Huge shout out to Kandy at Platinum Cleaners at Berkshire Commons. My husband brought in a pair of pants on a Friday night that HAD to be back on Monday. We were told we could pick up after 4 pm, and they close at 5 pm. When the pants hadn't been delivered to the store at 4, Kandy located the driver of the truck, followed up with us and let us know that if the driver arrived after their normal closing time she would stay late to accommodate us. THAT is great customer service. We sometimes bounce around to different cleaners, but this sealed the deal...we'll be using Platinum! read more

I LOVE this cleaners! Their seamstress (or tailor) did an AMAZING job on an old ripped sweatshirt of my husband's that held sentimental value. Kandy at the desk is such a sweetheart - always smiling, kind and accommodating - she's the type of person you want representing your business - she alone is worth using this Cleaners! The new amateur owners Andrew and Linette Rhodes are absentee unless you have a problem. They claim to be an "elite" dry cleaner yet know nothing about providing courteous "elite"service, and are inexperienced plus rude, at problem resolution. They will argue to get out of their mistakes. Insanely overpriced to be abused and disrespected. * Moving forward without approval to proceed from the customer on call estimates and ruining them in the process (3 times!). * Destroying a brand new Cuyana travel bag used once which was a gift. They proceeded without my approval - wash it, shrink it and shove it in a plastic bag, a wrinkled mess expecting $50. when I did not approve the cleaning! It will have to be disposed of -- at my cost of $165. Tough luck! * This business owners wife actually came to find me at a private salon, while I was getting my nails done, resentfully stomping in to nastily deliver my replacement J Crew pants they ruined --- which took forever, with many phone calls of excuses from her --- that is still the talk of the town. In summary, what was once a sought after dry cleaner for special items in Naples years ago -- is now an overpriced fake of the original. Not even the hangers are beautiful ones the original owners used that should come with this service. They complain themselves if you have an issue. How about "I'm so sorry this occurred. What can we do to make this better?" Beware! note: The delivery and reception individuals deserve 5 stars. The owners could learn from them! read more

In August, I brought white dress to this establishment to be dry cleaned. It was returned to me with brown stripes on back of dress - which were not there when I dropped it off. Andrew Rhodes, owner, tried to blame me, my closet temperature, salad dressing ( on back of dress?), etc until he agreed to try it again. It didn't work and he offered to try to get a replacement from designer. Replacement was not available so he offered me a $150 gift cert to designer's online store. This was approximately 1/4 of what the dress cost. As of this date, after several attempts contacting Andrew about the gift cert. during which he kept promising to "take care of it", I've not received anything. My last attempt resulted in a text back to me from Andrew asking if I had called the designer's corporate office. Obviously, this has not been resolved and there doesn't seem to be any intention to get it resolved. By the way, another dry cleaner in town, Diamond Cleaners, cleaned the dress successfully. read more

Ridiculously over priced...billed $21.65 for a ladies dress to get dry-cleaned. Shoot, I could practically buy a new dress for that price. Comparably price in North Naples...$13.65. Platinum said their "price in Naples was the same...$21.65...the owner sets the prices"....he should check the market! Told them to delete my name...because I won't be back! read more

We were clients of the predecessor business, and satisfied, for four seasons. Unfortunately, we're making a change. We've not experienced any of the anti-social behavior described in other posts, but they just aren't reliable enough. Occasionally, items go missing, and it can be a long time, with a lot of wasted interactions, before they are found and returned. Latterly, they've just stopped picking up on our scheduled day. And they can't seem to handle administrative matters effectively - we've had our credit cards compromised and replaced (nothing to do with Platinum Dry Cleaners), but when we try to get them to load the new information, they can't seem to get it done. Luckily, our card provider honors the charges, even though they're using outdated information, presumably because we had routine charges from the same vendor, but it doesn't inspire confidence. read more

They may be somewhat expensive, but they do a terrific job with great attention to detail. As an example, all my shirts are returned with new collar stays. They are a vast improvement over the several other dry cleaners that I have tried in the Bonita Springs area. read more
