Alec, who is leading much of the jewelry design and the whole team take any feedback and are constantly improving to be the best. The pre-covid reviews are not at all like what I experienced in 2026. I don't know what it was like then, but this Jeweler has clearly listened and improved it's customer service, has the best technology and 3-D printers and is now I believe the best of anyone that will be there for you in the long haul. If you meet Alec and the team, you will know what I mean, extremely humble and goes above and beyond for their customers. Also after getting engaged, 5 months later, I had our wedding band custom designed as well, and we ordered my wedding ring. Hands down the best! 1) Designed and crafted in-house. Their rings and settings on display are not just fake display rings, but most were designed and made in-house. Alec is their main designer and expertly worked with me, looked at my drawings and models to help custom make a ring for me. I wanted to design a ring that looked similar to a tulip setting but not pointy or cluttered. I wanted the north, south, east, west petals to come up just below the girdle of the diamond while flaring out slightly to look like a flower from above. And then have one prong at each corner of the diamond that would act as the structure to hold the diamond and look like the anther or seeds of the flower. It needed to look elegant, yet approachable, dainty and timeless. Alec brought this vision and drawings to life. They have sophisticated 3-D printers that can make wax molds which gold can be poured into to make custom jewelry. 2) They are a family-owned business. 3) Unmatched Craftsmanship and the most competitive price. If you saw the ring in person you would see what I mean by unmatched. Every part of the ring, the hidden areas underneath, everything is flawless and a work of art. My degree is in Landscape Architecture, so I can be very exacting, and Nazar's was so patient. We had multiple changes and iterations of wax molds until it was perfect to be cast in gold. I was never rushed or pushed aside. I felt like family. 4) Pick out your own diamond. I'm a skeptical person, I found a GIA certified, natural, untreated, fancy intense yellow diamond at Nazar's in their display, and for the next 3 weeks I tried to find something better. I looked at 50+ different fancy and fancy intense yellow diamonds from Diamonds Direct, Zadok, Deutsch, and Dubin's, all over. No one could show me a stone more beautiful than the ones at Nazar's. Nazar's price was even 10% less than Diamond's Direct, had higher stats on the GIA. Many other Jewelers had to order in diamonds from 3rd parties and pay a middleman and charge more, Nazar's has many GIA certified natural diamonds in stock that were expertly picked for their beauty (some people are not good at picking diamonds, Nazar's is) and can therefore offer a more competitive price on a higher quality diamond. 5) They are in it for you. A month later I happened to find 1 natural diamond that I liked more than Nazar's diamond (only 1!). I felt bad bc I wanted to give Nazar's the business. They let me compare the diamond I found to their diamond and encouraged me to pick the one I liked more even though they wouldn't make as much money. Nazar's still valued my business and we designed a ring around the diamond I sourced. (Nazar's diamond was priced better per carat than the one I found, but the one I found had a yellow color unlike anything I have ever seen and in a rare modified brilliant hybrid elongated cushion cut that looked more like an oval than a cushion. The type of natural diamond that if you looked for 10 years you may never find one like it). 6) Lifelong customers, not a quick sale. Nazar's was one of the only stores that I felt they were not about making a quick buck but about making a lifelong customer. Other stores I felt rushed, at Nazar's I never felt pressured. Even after the sale, they complimentarily resized the ring a half size smaller for my fiancée and polished it up like a show piece. 7) Adaptable, above and beyond. I had a dilemma. I could tell my girlfriend really wanted me to propose to her at the Chicago Marathon. That week I approved the final design, and Nazar and their amazing craftsman worked overtime to finish the ring and have it overnight shipped from Houston to Chicago on a Friday night. It arrived Saturday morning in time to propose on Sunday and surprise her! Nareq is the shipping master. Alec and his team made it happen! Thank you Nazar's and God bless you all and your wonderful team!

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and left us feeling unwelcome and judged. When we walked into the store, we were not greeted warmly. The first employe, a thin blonde late 20s early 30s, seemed hesitant to assist us and quickly passed us off to another salesperson. From the start, the second associate's, middle aged brunette, demeanor was cold and uninviting. Her first questions were, "Why are you here?" and "Who invited you?" rather than welcoming us or asking how she could help. She then took us to the customized wedding band display area. Instead of showing us any rings, she repeatedly asked what we were looking for and immediately stated that the lowest-priced options were around $2,000 plus diamonds. She asked about our budget, and when we told her it was $5,000, we were already felt turned off by her attitude and the impression that she had made assumptions about what we could or could not afford. Despite discussing our interest in wedding bands, she never once offered to open the display case or show us any of the rings in person. What made this experience even more frustrating is that my fiancé specifically designed my engagement ring at this Helzberg location, and many of the regular sales associates know him and have always treated us well. At that point, we decided not to continue shopping and simply requested a cleaning for my engagement ring. After I removed my ring and handed it to her, she complimented it and suddenly became interested in showing us wedding bands. She began pulling out rings and trying to sell us options--but only after seeing the engagement ring I was wearing. This behavior felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. We should have been treated with the same level of courtesy and attention from the moment we walked in, regardless of what we were wearing or what assumptions were made about our spending ability. Being ignored, judged, and then treated differently after revealing my engagement ring was completely unacceptable. We came in excited to create a wedding band and celebrate an important milestone. Instead, we left feeling undervalued and disappointed. I hope management addresses this issue so future customers are welcomed and treated with respect from the very beginning.

She was very patient and helped as I browsed through options and answered various questions on the clarity of stones, designers etc. I ultimately decided to go with the cluster ring shown in my picture which I am still so excited about! It was sent out and came back many months later and all was well. Upon my return to pick up my GMT I found a new Rolex DJ 41 that I was excited to purchase along with some new jewelry for my wife. These were my first purchases from the store. All was good until I found smudges on the dial of a brand new Rolex watch. Came back in less than 30 days to politely ask for a refund and management declined saying "they already called Mr Marks and all they could do was return to Rolex for who knows how long and for them to fix it." Meaning now they have to open a brand new Rolex case and movement and repair. Surely this could have been refunded or even store credit and returned to Rolex as a problem and tried to work with the new Rolex customer and clearly a Rolex enthusiast on obtaining a new piece of some sort. Customer service is lacking here. All I was offered was a bottle of water upon leaving the store without my new watch and the inconvenience that is incurred. No "How can we make this up to you?" or "What can we do to make this right with you since you're clearly unhappy about your experience" Needless to say new customers should be warned. Especially given their top notch reputation. And reputation of Rolex Authorized Dealers. A detailed letter will be sent to Rolex as well. Will update here when my Rolex is returned to me... Update- so received my watch back from Rolex Service a few weeks later. All is well with the new watch. Still very annoying to go thru this with a new purchase from IWmarks. On a side note they were able to lengthen a necklace that I purchased for my wife from here. And they did this free of charge as promised when I purchased the necklace. So I upgraded to 3 stars.
