If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Woods Transmission & General Repair is hands-down…read morethe most unprofessional, disorganized, and downright shady shop I've ever dealt with. They will waste your time, your money, and your patience. The staff acts like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you, when in reality they can't be bothered to lift a finger unless it's to run your card. My "repair" took weeks longer than promised, cost way more than quoted, and the car came back with NEW problems it didn't have before. When I pointed this out, they shrugged it off and tried to upsell me on even more repairs. The shop itself is a mess--looks like no one there has cared in years. Phones go unanswered, no one knows what's going on, and accountability is nonexistent. I wouldn't trust these people to check tire pressure, let alone touch a transmission. Save yourself the headache. Go literally anywhere else. Hopefully this shop can serve the city better when it gets turned into a parking lot.

I had to bring the car back 6-7 times before it was even somewhat fixed. Not long after, the car broke down on the highway and had to be towed to their shop. I was without a vehicle for over a week. When I finally got it back, the very next day the car was hesitating to start and warning lights were coming on again. I returned it once more, and they said they replaced a hose. Two weeks later -- the check engine light came on again. When I told Carla that I would not continue making payments until the car was properly fixed, she became upset instead of trying to help. I asked if we could work something out to get me into a different vehicle, and I was told, "This would happen to any of the cars on our lot." That response alone says everything. Today I went to the dealership just to retrieve some personal belongings from my car and saw "REPO" written on the side. This was shocking, as I personally drove the car there, it was never repossessed, and I was never notified of anything related to a repo. When I started having problems with the car I was told "this never happened," This dealership has been dishonest, unprofessional, and dismissive throughout this entire ordeal. I strongly encourage anyone considering buying a car here to think twice.Save yourself the stress, money, and safety risk, I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone
