We came to Watercolour for our anniversary dinner and had such a lovely experience!…read more The restaurant itself is beautiful, with tall ceilings, a warm and elegant interior, and cozy booth seating that makes it especially nice for a date night. The location on Unionville Main Street is also a big plus, and they have a really nice patio that would be perfect for dining outside when the weather is nice. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the mussels and octopus, and both were excellent. I especially love the charred flavour in the octopus. And the baguettes that came with the mussels are so addicting as well. Love the little kick in the broth! For our mains, we ordered the striploin and seafood risotto. The striploin was cooked perfectly and full of flavour, while the seafood risotto was creamy and packed with seafood. Our server was attentive, friendly, and very helpful with his recommendations. He gave us his honest opinion when we were deciding between the tenderloin and striploin. We ended up choosing to try more dishes instead of spending $185 on the bone-in tenderloin in the end. And even though we ordered way too much food for just the two of us, we cleared EVERYTHING! they were that delicious! We'd definitely come back for more food!

You'll need reservations here for sure and best to reserve a table not the day before otherwise they'll have bar tops available. They have a second floor for a more private dining which is nice for small groups or couples, the washrooms are downstairs, floors are slippery - be careful! When we got there we got to choose between the alcohol side or kitchen bar, we chose the alcohol bar side since the bartender Jasmine greeted me immediately and complimented my outfit. This is a pricey place, more a high end kind of restaurant so if you're looking for a cheaper place, don't go here obviously. Food was pretty decent with what we ordered. The only that didn't stand out whatsoever was the salmon. I've been to many high end restaurants and in other countries so salmon isn't much of a hit typically. They sold out of the bass fillet and the mussels (specials for the night/week - forgot what Jasmine said) so if you want to try these, order asap! Drinks were great! I asked for a Caesar as my second/third drink and wanted a specific amount of spice, Jasmine just came with the tabasco and put the amount I wanted, thank goodness! I feel like we definitely got the best service sitting by the drinks bar with Jasmine just genuinely kind and chatting with us. We had a great time and will definitely be coming here again.

This place has got me saying OPA!!! From each time I clumsily dropped my utensils, to when our…read moreserver brings over a enormous plate of QUALITY & DELICIOUS Greek food. With its super reasonable price, even for seafood & lamb, I'm so glad my family & I had dinner here! SAGANAKI - so fun to watch the waitress light a piece of cheese on fire. The citrus topped on the charred cheese also gave it a tangy flavour to have with the soft pita bread. MEDITERRANEO PLATTER - easily feeds 3 people. For starters, it came with: -Moussaka (absolute FAVOURITE dish I had, it's like a Greek Shepard's pie with creamed potatoes, saucey ground meet, & eggplants & zucchini layered within) -Dolmadakia -Side Vegetables The main dish had: -Lamb Chops -Chicken Souvlaki -Pork Souvlaki -Potato & Rice (tasted buttery & seasoned) All the meats were juicy, not dry, and deliciously seasoned with parsley flakes, dill & citrus flavours. I especially liked the lamb and chicken. The tzatziki sauce was super thick and went well with the souvlaki. LAMB STEW- so warm & comforting. The tomato, celery, bell pepper & onion flavours all combined incredibly with the tender lamb chunks. PORK TENDERLOIN - lean meat but not dry, again a comforting and flavourful dish. //DESSERTS// Do yourself a favour and don't forget to save room for it. I learned that Greek BAKLAVA uses walnuts & honey instead, so it's not overly sweet or soaked in sugar like the more familiar Turkish version. We also shared the STRAWBERRY YOGURT CHEESECAKE, which was extremely moist & refreshing, yet rich. //SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE// Service was so nice and welcoming. I'm so glad we stopped by for casual dinner, the space also gave off a very relaxed European feel. There's tons of booth seating and long tables at the corners of the restaurant (especially good for private parties or large dining groups). Overall, an eye-OPAning experience! The delicious Greek food, well-cooked proteins, hearty portions, AND reasonable prices will keep me coming back for more. Next time, I have my heart set on their calamari & seafood (which only ranges from 20-$25)! Anddd ordering a heap of the Moussaka haha, it's seriously the best.

First thing to note, service was not there at all. Once seated, the waitress paid no attention to…read moreus whatsoever and would not even look in our direction. The waiter who took our order was much better but still was missing good customer service skills. Asked for water for the table and wasn't delivered until our 4th time asking. We ordered the Med Platter which tasted great. Food overall was good for the price. Souvlaki and lamb chop were full of flavour and pretty juicy. Gyro was slighlty salty for my taste. This was my first time having moussaka and it had. I felt the filling lacked spice but the bechamel was a nice, creamy texture.
