Ample seating and even outdoor patio seating with string lights adding to the ambiance. I love the Chicken 65. It's tangy and very appetizing. All the curries I had were delicious. I tried the coconut chicken curry (has a bit of a kick) and also at another occasion the cashew curry for takeout, which was recommended by the staff. I think I preferred the cashew curry a bit more and it's less spicy too. It's also halal too if it matters to you. I would definitely recommend as there so many different type of curries and hakka dishes to try. Staff was also very friendly. It was late into the evening when I came in and ordered takeout and waited. The staff made small talk with me while I waited and even voided the tip, which is rare in the service industry these days.

There is also a restaurant on Kingston Road that I'll order from on week nights when we're craving home-cooked food. Definitely worth checking out. Be sure to look for it, tucked in just north of the Food Basics plaza.

Paper dosa is larger, thinner and I think crispier. Didn't really need the butter as it was oily but still good. We started with Idly and they were soft and fluffy, melted in your mouth. Finally tried Aloo Gobi curry with plain naan. Very flavourful and a bit spicy but the naan was more chewier than I'm used to. The place is busy and there is a glass window so you can see the dosas being made. The service is prompt and they check on you often. Overall an enjoyable lunch. Deal: 3pm to 6pm 2 dosas for $15.99.

I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Biryani and garlic naan. All three were amazing. The single order of naan was more like a double order anywhere else and was very fresh and packed with flavour. The chicken Biryani was the best I've ever had and the portion was huge and I'll be eating it for 3 more meals for sure. Lamb Vindaloo was also ace. Big chunks of meat with potatoes in a very flavourful sauce. The only thing I'd change is the spice level. It's marked as spicy but I didn't find it that spicy for me(def had kick though) this is a personal thing and next time I'll ask to kick up the heat a bit. Overall it was a great experience and I now have a go to place whenever I'm craving Indian food. Can't wait to try more off the menu.

The basmati rice is also very well made. Firm and easy to eat. All the curries were very distinctly seasoned, each bringing a slightly different flavour to the table. My favourites are the Rogan Josh and the aloo Gobi.

I went back in my car, sat for a couple of minutes, and called them. To my surprise they picked up and accepted my order. I was even told it would take about 25 minutes on a Thursday evening at around 7:20pm. And so, I waited in my car, walked into the store periodically to find out the whereabouts of my Paneer Makhani $6.99 and Palak Gosht $8.99. The third time I came around to check, it seemed as if they forgot to make my order, and told me another 10 minutes. Waited exactly 1 hour and 12 minutes before I got my food (at this my stomach was eating itself), and when I asked to use my 10% off discount from Yelp check-in, the younger staff did not acknowledge the discount and told me I cannot use it. Again, while I loved the food I don't think I will ever make a repeat visit. Not only was I refused the 10% discount, but the staff was unapologetic about making me wait 1 hr and 12 minutes when I was told 25 mins. Had I known, I would have gone to Popeyes next door to avoid this nuisance. Thank you and goodbye.
