I had some expensive work performed and the next day the pump was very noisy and vibrating excessively. I asked if the Tech could come back and check it out and not just Ass-u-me that it's the motor bearings. They refused. There are other issues that could cause pump noise other than motor bearings. The most amazing Pool Service - ever. We switched to Plaster's Pool Service a few months ago and have been very happy. They always come on a friday to service our pool and because we use the pool every day they always come early. Yesterday I emailed them to advise that our pool was turning yellow in a couple of places and to let the pool Tech know for this friday's visit. Well, instead of waiting until friday 2 guys from Plaster's were here before 8am today, wednesday and cleared the yellow and added special anti-algae stuff plus other chemicals. I used these guys for a year. Wonderful I thought. Six months in the pool kept getting cloudy. Vacuum job was poor. They kept saying pool had a leak as chemical levels kept dropping. I spent a ton of money to identify no leak. Then they said filter needed to be cleaned. I paid them to do this. I have DE filter. They put back together wrong and all the DE ended up in pool. What a gigantic mess. Then I question them and they lied lied lied lied to the end. Come to find out chlorinator not working and they were so incompetent they couldn't figure that out. The chlorinator was problem all along. Problem with it was it was stopped up w trash and has a clean out that should be cleaned monthly. They would not come fix filter and put back together correctly. I had to hire someone else to do that. Horribly company. Horrible customer service. read more

Over those years, I have had many different technicians come out, and they have always acted professionally. When I have had to replace machinery, I have always been quoted a fair price. The work has always been done on time. We were without power for 11 days with Irma, and the pool became cloudy and dirty. However. Once power was restored, it came back to normal in a few days due to the care and diligence of the technician. We have used Plasters in Naples for a little over 12 years at two different homes and can not say enough of their service. If I have a question, I email Eric, it is answered and on the next weekly visit it is taken care of. The equipment on our new house was older and I thought that I had a pump (poor skimming) and a heater malfunction. These guys are the worst. Sometimes they do not show up but they always bill you. I installed a camera and I know when they come. They tried to up sell. Today it was no vacuum unless I go to plan A. Several months ago they wanted me to buy for 30 dollars a bottle an additive for metals in the water. Bought it on Amazon for 8 dollars a bottle. Xmas one guy banged on my door for a tip for xmas he did not give up and continued through new years. I finally gave him 20 dollars to get rid of him. Most times they worked on my pool it was for less than 5 minutes. My HOA called me and ask for me to wake the pool man up that was sleeping in my front yard and send him on his way. All of this for the low low price of 75 dollars a month. Oh did I tell you extra now to vacuums and extra to clean the tiles!!!! Hiring these people would be a mistake. Oh and the one guy tried to get me to hire his wife as a maid and he wanted to be my personal handy man. He tried to fix a light. After an hour he gave up. read more

Stay away! Tech let the chlorine level get above 10ppm (over 3x normal) in my salt water pool and never informed us. I actually got a chemical burn in my eyes after a few minutes of swimming and needed medical treatment. Manager came out 4 days later, chlorine was still 8 - 10ppm, and that was after a good rain. He wasted my time giving excuses, like "maybe something was off with our tech's test kit". Never took responsibility for neither the unacceptably high chlorine level nor the injury I sustained because of it. He simply offered to have another tech take over the service. Really? Received a voicemail from the owner a few days later. Again, no acknowledgement of error on their part, and no "how can we make this right?". And no phone number left to call him back. Spoke very poorly, did not convey any concern or intention of following up. These people are unprofessional and reckless. For your safety, and the safety of your family/friends, do not let this company near your pool! They seem to have no concept of, or appreciation for, the liability they incur from these negligent actions. Remember, these can be dangerous chemicals if not used properly. Worst pool company I have ever dealt with. Wanted to start a new service with them as the place where we bought used them. When we called them for service they rescheduled twice. When he finally made it out he determined we had a thermostat that was out. After replacing he was sloppy and left the old parts laying out to rust. Then when I arrived home after his so called repair the pool pump went out. Was hot to the touch. I called them and requested service again to fix this issue and miraculously no one called me back. After 2 days of no return phone calls my wife called them to cancel the service. Stay clear of these guys as they will ruin your pool equipment. They do not belong in the business. After 7 months of service we had some issues.The tech has not been doing his job.4 weeks ago I contacted Skye the office mgr that I noticed my pool pump was struggling.I explained the following to him,I took the filter housing apart an was appalled at the condition of the filter,it was totally jambed with debris and black as night.It was a brand new filter when they took over 6 months prior.So after I checked that,I checked basket full of debris. I also checked the basket in the pump also full of debrisThe tech marks on our card what he does. He was here the day before I check the filter and he wrote that he clean filter and perform the other services.He did not.Skye said send him pictures,so we did ,twice.He said he never received them,ya rite.So we have been watchimg the tech for the past 4 weeks.He is here for no more than 5 minutes.Has not cleaned filter or baskets but writes that he has.We just talked to Skye again,after a promise we would get a new tech we are stuck with the same slacker.We received no comp for this shoddy work.A word to the wise DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOUSY WORK. read more
