I had to give them a ring a day later because one of the pipes drawing water into the home had become slightly dislodged. Will came right out on moment's notice (on a weekend morning when the office is usually closed, no less) to tighten up the pipe connector. After diagnosing an issue as a contractor error, John Kulk later changed his story to the contractor, claiming it was our fault, which caused significant confusion and delays. John Kulk then suggested we file a claim with our homeowners insurance to correct the negligence of the contractor. The next day, the contractor stated in writing that he had "conferred" with John Kulk and repeated the same question, "perhaps that could go through your homeowners' insurance??" During the service, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. John Kulk said he can't find qualified workers and complained his employees frequently argue in front of customers. We previously had to ban John Kulk's employees from our home due to their unprofessional behavior. We also faced major reliability issues; snow removal was promised but denied immediately when the first snow storm arrived. Given the overpricing and lack of professional conduct, the quality of service here has significantly declined. We do not feel comfortable having John Kulk's Plumbing in our home again. While looking into Valenza we found their reference to their Instagram posting. That information displayed detailed photos of their completed jobs. It was apparent that a considerable amount of work went into making this information available, indicating they were a step above their competitors. When I contacted them I spoke to Eric, and he took the time to let me describe what I thought I needed. I did not know the specifics, since I was remote. Dominick came to my brother's house, evaluated the situation, and provided an estimate to resolve the problem.
